Now I'm left wondering how we find out who won... I have to say that these 4 women did a fabulous job of this final challenge. It has certainly been an inspiration to me in so many ways. To see Barb and Roxani, older women like me. To see all the challenges that Asia has been through. To watch Esther do a painting unlike her previous work in that challenge that she won - it was amazing. I have learned a great deal as an artist and I loved being able to see the process of all the artists in this long-format video (unlike Season 3). I really appreciate the opportunity to watch, learn and grow, and to see how these artists all have done the same through this competition.

Be careful of what you watch..as there is a video that announced the winner. Due to this season being aired on another platform over a year ago, the videos revealing the winner were seperate to this season and were posted on here before this season was posted on YT.. I hope that makes sense. Either way..this was a great season, and definitely encouraged me to break away abit from my usual style. I am working on an exhibition and this really helped me think out the box and free myself abit.❤❤

they're all amazing artists, id vote for asia, great piece. she made a comment that she's never felt like she fitted in - some people just aren't meant to fit in , they are meant to have difficult lives because they are a different type of human being and here for a different reason - starseeds, i hope she has learnt to be comfortable with the not fitting it, in part that's why her art will devolop into even more of an amazing unique style that she already possesses - i can also see her being an art therapist in the future - helping others heal with art and colour. wishing all that took part an amazing sucessful future - they all deserve it.

They girls have to fight in a sort of mud pit, but filled with paint. It's gross, but one of them demolished the others. I don't want to spoil it, but you HAVE to see Barb bodyslamming Esther!!!!

What a hard decision they have! It’s been amazing to watch them all stretch and grow also if I can say to the hidden artist in these series, the editing choices of the videos have gotten better and better with each episode. I noticed suggestions from the comments thoughtfully applied like the volume and type of background music and showing the final artwork with the artist name etc. I have found myself looking forward to watching tv, and that’s saying something! Pins and needles til Friday!!!

Actually not hard at all to judge. Allannah won, Asia is second, Esther third, barb is just boring. It's really simple. The best use of composition and color goes to allannah by far. Asia did a pretty good job but the hard triangle mountain like lines throws off the flow of how the eye travels on the piece. Esther is good but doesn't have the greatest composition and again barb is just boring boring boring

It's the halfway point and my vote so far is for Barb with Alannah second, Esther third and Asia last. Finial looks, my vote is still for Barb.

Unless the artists are given the exact same theme to apply and a specific range of colours and techniques to use, art competitions are very highly subjective. There is no true winner. Everybody wins. Like athletics...the competition is objective because each competitor is competing in specific categories that they all have training in. You don't get the hurdler competing with the 400 meter runner and atheletes like Usain Bolt, or even gymnasts, etc all in one bundle and expect to come up with a fair final decision, a winner.

We're watching them backwards, I believe we watched season 3 first, this is S2, and we have S1 left to see. Pretty sure they did it that way bc only S3 was intended for YT due to the higher quality, but it had such a great response that they went ahead and released prior tapings. So happy they did!!! I don't care how raw season 1 is, I want to see it 😁

The girl who drew the art with the sun ☀️ and moon 🌖, it’s beautiful. Honestly there’s no need to mention the moon looking as an old person while the sun being a young woman, that’s nonsense in my opinion. The art is beautiful overall, maybe adding more towards the moon background, I would recommend adding flowers that blooms at night and even fire flies would be a good touch around them, cause the sun got sunflowers, bees 🐝 would’ve been a good addition. Or butterflies 🦋 with the sun and moths on the moons sides. There are many options there… Overall great work!

Even though I think you all deff wanted Alannah to stay in the competition and thats why that one challenge was extended 45 minutes as she was not going to make it without that extra time. And I feel that Asia is favored by the judges. So...Im thinking itll go to Asia.

I thought the paintings were better before the judges got involved. You could see the artists expression in the paintings and they were gorgeous. The judges clearly caused second guessing and stiffness in the final outcome. They should have left them alone and allowed us to see the true expression of these amazing artists.

I totally agree! I guess that is the "sellable" art style they teach at their school. I feel like I can spot a "Milan graduate" now. They all paint similar subject matter and styles. The paintings are nice but I wouldn't buy any of these. Not really a fan of Milan style.

They are very nice but all the same and I think you are right when you say that currently that style is the trend and you know what they say about trends ! They don’t last. 😮

Maybe it's just my rebellious nature against trends but when I see a face with flowers or something covering the eyes I always wonder if they are just trying to avoid drawing the eyes because they are to draw. Are you an outstanding artist if you have to use computer graphic programs to come up with designs for you to paint and the experts are recommending that you do so? I am personally not happy with the direction art has taken. Anyone can copy what they see in their computer generated mock up.

I think they're taught to make very sellable paintings with a similar streamlined process. You'll see the similarities even more in the other season they released. But if you can get past the specific style, you'll learn some good painting tips.

Although I'm only at the end of day 1, I find that the younger girls sort of look liken the milan style of paintings and Barb's is the only one that is unique. They're skills are top notch, but the subject matter isn't unique enough...perhaps that will change as I get further in...

The two jury members are so skilled and know so much better how the work should be done..better than the creators themselves. But why didn't the jury members come to judge naked or in bikinis?...that would be much better for view

Alannah and asia piece are the strongest pieces and esther comes in third for me. Barbs piece is so boring and these two judges just talk to much and have absolutely no idea of what to look for in art and they are so not credible listening to them.
