Ish. It’s a little tricky. Sometimes when we fear being abandoned, it’s easier to be with someone who isn’t ready because then when they don’t stay with us, it’s not because of us…. It’s because they weren’t ready. Also, we feel special because we have a job (to their emotional work, as well as ours). It can also oddly lead to a sense of control. So…. She wants Marcus…. BUT… is it really Marcus? If Marcus was super into her, there’s a good chance she would be less interested…. Because, oddly, part of the interest, isn’t really him… it’s because he’s unavailable and in an odd way feels “safer.” If that makes any sense…. It’s not safer, but feels safer Probably also why it was easier to tell Devon he loves her when he was needing reassurance. It felt more comfortable to persuade him to stay. Anyways…. All that to say that I don’t think being with Devon is settling. She’s very afraid of being in a relationship with someone who won’t bail because…. She has to focus on her feelings, not his. And that’s unnatural. It’s a scarier scenario and one that doesn’t feel comfortable or known. **all this is just a hypothesis. But… if she’s only choosing Marcus because she likes that he is distant… because of past trauma…. Then it’s not really settling for Devon. (If that makes any sense). I also feel for him though and I hope they’ve had enough convos that they can get through this (if they are together). Because… Marcus wasn’t a real relationship. They never got there. Devon was…..: and she took a leap of faith to try it… even though it may mean getting more hurt than she’s ever allowed herself to get before. (All thoughts… I could be totally wrong)

Isn't is just so amazing that every lead falls in love with multiple people ?? Perhaps this kind of speed dating frame is just too risky to find true and lasting love? More couples have crashed and burned shortly after the "show" (and that's what is really is) ends. Romantic places, limited time to really get to know people, what could possibly go wrong.

The preview, specifically the part where she says I can’t let you propose to me, I believe gives away who she said that to. Their height differences give away who she’s talking to. One of these men is head and shoulders taller than the other. :; Sorry I don’t remember if you’ve already said that!😊

Theory time *SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE AHEAD* * * * * * Maybe I’m just in denial, but there’s a question that popped up in my head I can’t get out: what do you think Devin’s reaction was when he found out she clearly preferred Marcus until the end? My guess is: exactly what happened. He probably asked early on in their engagement if she’d said she loved any of the other guys. He was very insecure about that. And I mean we all saw what happened so I doubt she could have been the most reassuring in her explanation before the show aired. I think he really just heard his greatest fears actualized and realized he couldn’t be with her knowing he wasn’t her first choice. I don’t think Devin is fame hungry or fake. I think he’s just insecure, and he let his insecurities get in the way of something good. And she probably should’ve kept the I love yous to herself. Sad all around.

I think Marcus leaves, Devin goes to propose, but she stops him, because he loves her more than she loves him. She said "I love you, you freeking idiot" to keep him from leaving. She was scared to be left with no one. I think she ends up Realizing she shouldn't have sent Johnathan home, and they had the most even feelings for each other. She's going to go back for him last minute. I do hope she picks Devin though. I also think they tried to fake us out by inviting Johnathan to bachelor in paradise on the men tell all. They don't usually do that. When asked if he was single he said yep very quietly...

Been wanting someone to mention all season that the guy she’s telling “i can’t let you propose to me” is significantly taller than her and obviously Devin. Leans into the idea that she proposes at the end because we can all clearly see she’s going to pick Devon.
