Q141: "Do they have cheat buttons" I can speak from personal experience as an arcade technician that yes those claw machines have cheat buttons, they have a computer that not only specifies the number of payouts the game will give, but also controls the claws strength, so it is very well possible to lose a "winning" game, and then not get another in like 20 games.

On the claw machine one to answer your question if they usually have cheat buttons technically yes. They have programming inside of them that makes them let someone win every so often that can be adjusted by the owner with either better or worse probability of winning. The more you know.

You didn't get Level 173 ("Disappear the card") the first time because one card was the Seven of _Hearts_ and the other was the Seven of _Diamonds._ Both red Sevens, but still different. That's the (rather sneaky) _trick_ in this trick question. 20:26 "Is that a _thing?_ Do these things normally have cheat buttons?" Actually, yes. It's not usually a simple Lose/Win switch, though. With the advent of computerization, a lot of arcade machines and games (and slot machines, for that matter) have some means for an owner (or a trusted maintenance guy) to alter how often and how much the game "pays out". ahhh claw machines - the one in the game was doing what all of them do until you flipped the operator switch. They're programmed to make a certain amount before the grabber grabs hard enough to carry a prize to the prize chute.
