I read somewhere that Coach K had thought about being a priest, I'm so glad God had other plans for him. Yes, he would have been a great priest and maybe even become a Cardinal, but I think his desire and burning to win was so intense, coaching was the perfect role for him! As a Catholic, I have always admired how he reminds himself and others of his upbringing and his carrying two rosaries in his pockets for every game is much like my own father did, sometimes a rosary, but if not, he always had a cross in his pocket! Love you Coach K, it's going to be difficult to not see you on the sidelines anymore!

Easily one of the greatest coaches in sports history and a top-3 here in NC right along with Dean Smith and if he continues what he's accomplished so far Rod Brind'Amour. I will miss you Coach K. I first became a Duke fan when Shavlik Randolph, a good family friend, joined the team and I went to his basketball camp for a couple years. There's not a coach around all of basketball I respect and admire more than him. Good luck in this March Madness, Mike. Hopefully you bring home one last chip
