Arcane Season 2 is finally coming, though Riot and Netflix have announced that Arcane Season 2 will be the final season? What will become of all our favorite League of Legends Champions? Will Vi and Caitlyn fight? Will Jinx be saved? Will Victor finally get his evolution? And will Zaun get ist freedom from Piltover?

I may be weird but I'm excited for people to see how twisted singed really is. In season 1 he was just an afterthought, and people didn't even think he's an actual threat...me coping as a singed enjoyer.

I'm excited to see Warwick, and Jinx and Vi's battle, but also scared because Mel's chances of having survived look pretty slim.

I'm so excited for this! might go rewatch your reactions of s1 to get ready because I can't emotionally cope with actually watching it all again. I'm most excited for how the relationship between the 2 sisters will play out (probably break my heart again) and the inventor guy. I didn't know that the show was being praised so much for its representation and honestly that worries me too. I struggled in the first season because it is something I cannot myself endorse, but I found it was done tastefuly as just another side plot. I really hope they don't lose sight of their story in favour of pushing a message - and that goes for any message.

Looks like I better get started on season 1 asap, because I have not seen it yet and I had no idea it was based on a video game, I just only heard of this show a while ago. But, the trailer looks awesome! I’m excited to start watching it and wait for season 2 to come out! :)

I've seen the first episode a while back. I'm not sure why I haven't seen more. I remember talking to my sister about how I loved the graphics and the storyline as we were watching Not to mention the steampunk design love it! Imagine dragons on top of that is chefs kiss 🤌

I can tell by the trailer that Arcane season 2 is going to be a lot better than season 1! However it's really sad that it's the last season😢

its said final chapter, but its just for the piltover and zaun chapter, they will continue with other regions but the next show will have different name thats the reason its says final chapter, soo many people got this info wrong soo im just typing it in.

I'm so excited for the Glorious Evolution & Ekko's time tech! I hope to see Camille as well. I know Jinx is too far gone to become fully healed, but I'm worried that we'll leave her sad & alone :( Your concerns about forced representation are valid (Marvel can be annoying about that), but I also have faith in the writers since they've handled representation very well while showcasing various races, fantasy or otherwise, gender diversity & roles, class differences, varying levels of intimacy/ sexual moments, & subtle queer coding (like with Caitlyn at the brothel). None of it felt misplaced. So if Vi & Cait do end up together (I also don't mind whether they do), it'll very likely be developed, nuanced, & hold further symbolism in regards to the narrative (& in a way, it already does with Jinx's fears of being replaced).

Yeah, I don’t think Jinx stands a chance. When it comes to things like queer coding, I really just hate that term. It seems so silly to put something in a box like that or have one group claim it for it’s own.

@@TheStorytellersGuild1 (Sorry for the late response. I was trying to word my thoughts & forgot 😅.) While some fans within communities definitely attempt to claim characters as their own without exception (saying "this person's gay & straights can't have them," etc), the majority of Arcane fans I've interacted with just headcanon characters as queer or relate to them as another way to engage with the show. People don't have to agree nor like the headcanons, especially if they're not official. It's just viewers having fun. But hey, maybe there's some toxic Violyn shippers out there that wanna see two women kiss so bad that they're rude about it 🤷‍♀️. The term "queer coding" can often amount to mere queer bait for inclusivity points, which is what annoys me. But it's also not a definite claim that a character is queer. Rather, it's fans reading into subtext, whether they're misreading it or not. It can be a valid & intentional storytelling tool as well, or in certain cases, subtle enough to not impact the coherence & tone of the story. (But also, we don't question when characters are implied to be straight, so this may be a pointless rant.)
