I've basically read every page on the wiki and I don't feel like there's (too) much of a reason to continue. It was good while it lasted Note: The item editor is DragonLens, a mod. I can't fully recommend it since it's kinda buggy and stuff, but it works. Also, I want the compilations to line up with all existing episodes, and I don't want to go to 25, so here we are

The killing ladybugs increasing rain chance could actually be pretty useful in early hardmode to farm Frost Cores/Ice Feathers and the Nimbus Rod. Each item drops from enemies that only spawn during rain, those being Ice Golems (rain = blizzards in the ice biome) and Angry Nimbus' respectively.

I can't speak for the rest of the balkans, but in the banat region where my parents are from, there's a bit of a superstition that when you kill a spider, tomorrow it'll rain. I've heard it with ladybugs before too but not as often.

I guess it's my last chance to contribute with my own useless fact, so here: The spanish translation of Terraria is in fact on Spain's own brand of spanish, and as such some of the expressions are localized towards that region. Also, sometimes they do translate some things literally, like the Cool Whip being called "Látigo Molón" molón being slang for "cool/great/awesome" and the *_legendary_* Bloody Tear being called "Osito Sangriento" which was a disaster in itself as "osito" is actually a diminutive of "bear" which means they both, got the item mispelled, and also translated it anyway, it was the best lol. Although more recently it has been changed to the more accurate "Lágrima Sangrienta" which is a better translation.

According to Beaver County Times, an abundance of ladybugs is considered in some superstitions to indicate a forecast of fair weather. By extension, killing ladybugs would in theory bring less-than-fair weather; IE, rain. So that very well could explain why killing ladybugs increases the probability of rain.

The ladybug killing is because rain is considered an event and all events are considered "bad", and killing ladybugs decreases your luck so with negative luck, you have a higher chance of getting an event, and rain is an event.

4:24 fun fact is that terraria is getting broken if your resolution is bigger than 1920x1020, whole screen becomes blurry (pixels are out of their place). Rezooming won't help (used "no zoom cap" mod for tmodloader to hardset 100% zoom, still blurry) Setting ingame resolution to 1920x1020 makes game look as it intended to, but still blurry because it's not monitor resolution. By the way, game looks much pleasure since all pixels are in place.

4:45 The connection here may be superstition. My family is originally from Eastern Europe, it's common to say that it'll rain tomorrow to somebody after they kill a spider. I'm unsure how it started. This may be an extention of that from another region, or maybe another eastern European country, where they say the same but for ladybugs.
