I usually ridicule people who ask this question but for the first time I cannot actually make out of you're using AI or not for this. It's a great voice but something about the delivery just does not feel natural with what is being read. Especially the intro.

I do use an AI voice in the creation of these videos. It's the best one I have ever been able to design. But I will admit to you that regardless of that the process is very... challenging. When I began I thought it would be easy. Write the script...toss it into the voice machine...and bam. Done. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact I have to listen to the entire thing and then mark down which paragraphs are "off". I then have to re-roll those. Again....and again...and again. The words themselves can play tricks on the "mind" of whatever AI model is running these things. Many paragraphs are what I call "unvoiceable". They have to be re-written completely. Because the words used in the order used cause the voice machine to be CONVINCED the paragraph is supposed to be acted one way...when it really should be acted another. I agree with you about the intro. The "inflection point" which causes it to sound "off" is in one line.... "Wishing you luck from Nebraska" The inclusion of the word "Nebraska" caused the voice machine to feel COMPELLED to give that ONE line a bit of a regional accent. No amount of re-working would fix it. At a certain point you just have to say "Done is better than perfect." and wrap it up. Which is what I did there. Ultimately, the tech isn't 100%. You essentially need to have two "layers" of communication between you and the AI. Right now we only have one. The words. What needs to be able to be done is you need to be able to highlight the text and access a pop-up which you can describe the tone. Or better yet.... just read it the way you want it to be intoned....and then it will do that. But in the chosen voice. Hopefully that tech will come along sooner than later. Ultimately... I am not going to obsess over it too much. This is the most fun I've had in years. I don't really like my "day job" much anymore. With this I just sit on the couch next to my wife....each of us with an iPad...and we do up these animations while talking. Then I write up the story and spend a few hours getting the voice right and the editing done. It's a great way to spend time together in the evening as a couple.

@@GrimdarkKing Of course, there's more to the video than a voice. I am not very into the whole process of AI but maybe if you do a reading on it yourself and then ask the AI to replace your voice with the other one, you would get the "soul" that is lacking from it at the moment. Or dont and just do whatever haha. All is well in the end. It is just my personal taste I think that is making it hard for me to enjoy AI voices.
