Goo gun is actually my favorite ability in the whole game honestly. The amount of creative and cool stuff you can do with it is wild. Throw in some barricades, a dome shield, and goo grenades and you become the ultimate point defense player. Basically just building your Minecraft house the whole match, which your opponents (or allies) promptly proceed to burn down.

Hey J, haven’t even finished this video yet but I felt the need to express how good your videos on the finals are, I love all your videos, but the ones for the finals are all filled with such amazing moments and are some of the most entertaining videos I’ve seen, pure anti light energy and I can’t get enough, this video is 30 minutes and I know a lot of people don’t really like that kinda thing but especially for the finals it just fits so well, I never lose interest these are the kind of videos I can go back to and watch over and over again, that’s also thanks to the finals being such an entertaining game. Coming from Hunt and getting my expectations let down every 3 months, it's genuinely nice to see devs who give a shit about player feedback and add really cool shit to the game. I'm glad you're having fun playing Finals, it's a lot of fun. I wanted to ask everyone else, but also just give my two cents on this video. I don't necessarily know if I'm diagnosing the problem correctly, but there is something really off with the audio mix on this video. It's like way too busy, to the point it's grating to my ears. I'm not entirely sure, but it feels like sometimes there's two different music tracks layered on top of each other, to the point that you can't follow either properly. Sometimes the music is very quiet, most likely on purpose, to fade into the background of otherwise very bombastic highlights. The game already is very visual -and audio-wise very noisy, and JFJ gets excited and starts yelling (Which is not a bad thing, mind you). It's just that when the (I assume) edited in music, clashes with the in-game music (for example when the round ends) Those tracks add a lot of noise into the mix, and on top of that the excited voices, it becomes a bit much for me. An example of what I mean. 22:11 - 22:40 In my opinion, here the mix is just fine, the music in the background connect the cuts and establish the montage-y style and makes it flow better. It helps that there are a couple longer fights. Then 22:40 onwards, After JFJ collapses the roof, the sounds start to be a bit wonky for me. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the cashout plays the musical motif on its own here, at the same time the music in the edit is still in the background. Then the middle of the steal is edited out, In-game music kicks in when the steal completes and round ends. JFJ quips, music swells, AAAAAAND cut to menu, with different music. I don't know if the music after the round end is added in post or not. Another example 17:00 - 17:54 JFJ explaining his anecdote and the preceding gameplay section have the same music (an awesome song imo.). I could swear the menu and game wrap up screen is playing music at the same time as the song added in post plays. Then the song fades out, switches to different song, all the while the in-game music competes for space in the audio track. Look, I don't know if I'm the one completely trippin', that's why I'm asking for opinions. There are more similar moments in the video, but I think this one is clearer. It's like the montage-y music added in post intersect badly with the in-game soundtrack, but because the editing is intended to be fast-paced, it needs a backing track for it to connect better. It doesn't help that occasionally, the finals is just a very loud game. I'd love to hear opinions, or even just somebody tell me I'm wrong and it's fine.
