You have to feel for Declan.. He was absolute class, and on his way to a 3 frame win until those two dry breaks at the end, and it wasn't because the breaks were lacking in quality. That said, for Tom to keep matching Declan's clearances until 10-7, and then to clear up 5 straight frames was top bin stuff. He's the best in the world for a reason.

I remember playing 8 ball on UK tables a long time ago. Now I play on US tables. I definitely remember the tighter pockets--relative to size of the balls--on UK tables. Is the cloth generally slower as well? I am fuzzy on that, but it seems like that might be the case, from watching these matches.

Brilliant final between 2 great players but these stupid 15 second shot clocks and match clocks are a complete joke as they do nothing to enhance the sport and only ruin great pool matches such as this one, so come on Ultimate Pool get your act together and don't continue to run all your tournaments in this Mickey Mouse format.
