God-Shattering Star is still the best for me. I know it's sort of overrated now, but it's so different from a lot of the other songs in the OST. When the music first kicks in, and you hear those intense horns and then the psuedo-latin opera, it hits you so hard. It's very fitting for what is effectively the true ending of the story IMO, where Byleth and Claude have a final showdown with the story's ultimate, overarching antagonist.

Lets be honest, besides GSS being an amazing song in and of itself, it was also unique compared to the other main two routes and their finale song. Theirs felt more, like the normal music but more triumphant since its the end. Furthermore, the ending of the Golden Deer is having you face a legendary commander and his equally legendary captains/commanders (forget their rank) and that has got to be filling you with dread. Yes the other routes had their end boss being really strong and scary but idk, thats just me. anyway, good song, am I right?
