Not entirely, the Super Smash Bros. games in the series takes place in the world of imagination according to sakurai, you can see both intros of Smash 64 and Melee where characters are toys/trophies where they come to life in the world of imagination, which is quite complicated in that case. After the characters defeat Master Hand or Crazy Hand in classic mode, they return back to reality as toys/trophies, while the crossover series itself doesn't effect other video game franchise's canon like Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Sonic, and others, aside from these references in their games. So no, Super Smash Bros. is not canon.
