I admire anyone who is willing to do the hard yards and learn. You young people have a lifetime to learn this stuff, there is no hurry. The market is always going to be there even if it takes you 10 years to become consistently profitable. I am 73 and running out of time, but I am learning all the time. OMG this is so me🤣🤣 Risk management is much more important than having a strategy, but nobody can teach you that , even if you're told, you won't understand until your pocket teaches you. My trading mentality changed since I started using good risk management. I'm not there yet but hopefully I'll make a video like this soon ( showing my first trades and laugh about them).

Do you know like 70% of pro traders use the confluence of trends, S&R, patterns, price action as well as reading the candlestick formations before taking trades? But trust me, they’ll teach you all those in general but they’ll NEVER tell you a breakthrough as to why one needs to take a trade at a particular price level

Finally someone said it, get proper education. Don't get influenced by people affirming you can learn without a course. Can you? Yes, maybe, probably not. It depends on who you are. Evaluate yourself. Are you willing to pick up info from several places, all jumbled in your mind, and take the losses that come with it? Are you that organized? Do you want a straight up strategy/knowledge, all lined up properly and to your convenience? Know yourself. Remember that time is also a variable that will change depending on the path you take.

Most of the things happened to me also back in late 2018😂😂but I'm so so glad that back in early 2019 I happened to just randomly find a guy who had been trading for like 5 years and he eventually became a mentor to me......my journey with learning forex was pretty much shortened and now I have had such a good 2020 when I went live in Feb (blew the first account though😹😹). I'm just obsessed with this new world and I love it.✨✨

I really resonate with this video and I don’t normally comment on KZbin lol. I went through a very similar journey however I feel like it’s taken me a lot longer than most. I think I started around 2018 when my mental health was the worst it’s ever been. Besides picking up bad habits from someone who was selling “easy money” and 1 friend I have made in the process, I have gone through this entirely alone. I’m still not profitable but I have done more internal work in the past 4 months on my own through trading than I have in therapy. Psychology is so important and the only thing that has kept me from quitting is knowing that everything I have been working towards IS possible.

Don't get disappointed after using your first few months of trading for learning, no need to look at how much you're making or losing, you should be focused on learning. I suggest a paper trader for newbies though instead of diving straight into trading live in the market with cash. Glad youre sharing your experiences so someone can use them as learning tools to become successful.

I also started demo trading since late 2017. And got a live account during 1Q of 2018. I manage to earn 25% in the first week. After that, I got margin calls and got wiped out. The trades that got me wiped out are AUDUSD and bitcoin. That's all I remember.

Signal services are good if the results are transparent. Problem is most signal services don't have enough transparency of past trades. I use metatrader marketplace signals because you can see the whole history there so you know what you're buying before you get in.

No signals or anything I was actually a pretty quick study one thing they don't tell u about demo is how easy it is to make money when you have alot of it. It's harder to make money with a little money. I made 90k in like 3 weeks with my demo balance of 100k..pretty much doubles

Oh my, I'm at QMUL as well, first year though and I use trading212 at the moment too and just recently started my journey. I also read Rich dad Poor dad initially before getting into the proper mindset to find a way of making serious money, I then read Think and Grow Rich, which is also a really good book to read if you have the time! I’m currently working a part time job and have been since year 11 so I have the savings, just trying to find the right mentor/course. Didn't realise we have this much in common.

That's actually the phase that either makes us or breaks us in my opinion. (I remember when I made some in BTC back in December 2017 I thought I knew everything and was on top of the world next thing I know account where blown then went straight to signals another account blown.) How trading makes me become a millionaire type of videos on KZbin should be illegal cuz it keeps on adding fuels to those looking for a quick-rich thing that doesn't exist! (my opinion lol)

Hi Hannah, your channel is very interesting. I have a question though, do you have to be regulated by the FCA to trade with FTMO's money? Usually to perform a controlled function with other people's money you need to be regulated. The FTMO page says that if you pass the verification steps you get 100.000 USD to trade with. Isn't it a CFD broker in disguise?
