This is definitely better value than the gmmk pro and better performance, glad akko is stepping it up and making their products even better than before Edit: personally I don’t really find north facing as an issue, I like the feel of asa more than cherry profile but I understand cherry profile looks and sounds more appealing to most, great review

Typically, I don't enjoy smaller keyboards, but like if I had to choose, this would be my go-to lol. I absolutely love the look of the case and the switches, really dark blue is a color that I tend to adore. The keycaps really are just a cherry on top for the entire thing, the off-white and light blue really help make the entire board pop out more, it's really enjoyable, and as for the sound test, sheesh man I love the fact that there's very little ping in the typing test. Anyway, would someone be nice enough to inform me of the north-facing led issue? I've always been confused about it, is it like an issue with the actual led, the switch, or the keycap? I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know! Finally, I just wanted to say that I love how enthusiastic you are CG, you always make me intrigued, leading me to want to watch the whole entire video rather than just look at the typing test and dip. Keep it up!
@AustinPegoda2 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah man that really means a lot! Thanks for taking the time to write a comment like this! You’ve made my day!! But as far as the north facing issue.. it’s really cherry profile keycaps.. when having north facing leds.. some cherry keycaps have interference when being pressed with a pcb using north facing switches because if you look at the way a switch is.. it perfectly fits a cherry profile keycap.. but if you flipped the switch around, and used the keycaps the same way, it’s like trying to fit a puzzle piece in the wrong spot.. it’s not always going to happen but when it dose it’s really annoying and sounds completely off.. It usually happens in the “FGHJ” row on a keyboard.. but it can be anywhere.. I hope this helped and made it easier to understand 😂

@@_ExTitus Spring ping? Nah it's just trademark akko spring flex 😎/s I wonder how'll mounting it on lubed springs will feel and sound, I imagine they're going to be pretty heavy to keep the keyboard from feeling like a literal key when you press down.

+1 for this. Been thinking to buy th80 since it’s just $66 and looks exactly like this akko one and gmmk pro one, but just plastic which isn’t that much of a problem since considering the price of it.
@chiizuu7522 жыл бұрын
@@uzairqader8067 I modded the pro version (steel plate) for a client a few weeks ago. The build quality is solid and feels nice to type on. I just don't like that it uses clip-ins to open the case instead of screws. No doubt there's no way you can open it without even scratching or denting the case unless you have a strong plastic pryer because it took a lot of force to open.
