This girl made history as the first and only Arab woman to win a prestigious beauty pageant. Georgina Rizk became Miss Universe in 1971. She was really brave to wear a swimsuit on stage because back then, Arab women couldn't wear Western clothes or even go to school. So, How did her life turn out after the competition? In the early 70s women in Afghanistan and Iran wore western clothes and had more freedom than they do now. There were some exceptions.

What kind of absolute TOTAL Lies and rubbish are you saying in this video?? *1st if all ~ Georgina's name is pronounced Rizik... *2: ~ arabic women were allowed to go to school back then and even further back... in Lebanon and across arabic countries alot of women were educated up to university level... infact the World's 1st university was opened by an arabic woman centuries ago *3: ~there are 4 religions in the arab World, not all the women wear head scarf hijabs ~ approx. 50% do not do so * 4: ~arabic women who choose not to cover often do wear bathing suits in public swimming places ~ it started 20years prior to this beauty contest *5: ~the images of women wearing black scarfs (chador) that you show as images of arabic housewives... those are NOT arabic women, but rather images of after islamic revolution Iran... Iranians are not arabs. * 6: ~again i REPEAT arabic women did not all wear hijab and cover their faces, not then and not now *7:~ many higher education arabic women in the 1950's and onwards are doctors, lawyers, accountants...etc...etc.they are not all tied to home base *8:~ Lebanon is NOT a muslim country... it 50/50 christian and muslim country... it has never been a conservative country, but instead a party beach/ restaurant n bar/nightclub playground since the 1950's... and many famous celebrities + jet setters have visited Lebanon *9:~ Georgina is NOT the only arabic woman to have won a prestigous beauty contest... Miss USA 2010 was Rima Fakih, who is also of Lebanese origion. In Miss World 2023 Yasmina Zaytoun won 1st runner up... she too is a Miss Lebanon *10: Georgina is NOT the 1st Lebanese woman to appear in a swimsuit in public, as Lebanon's beaches have been full of Lebanese women swimming in public *11:~ Georgina Risk is half Chzech and half Lebanese *12:~ Walid Toufich?? his name is Toufik! so...Thats 12 very important points that correct ALL your WRONG faulty info you put in this video. Not all Arab women wear a Hijab. Georgina Rizk is Christian and Lebanon has a huge Christian population.

I was in the Arab world from 1071-1981 and women did NOT wear hijabs. This is a relatively new phenomenon. As a Christian, she had more freedom than a Moslem woman, but even Moslem women wore Western clothes. Clothes do not make a person. Character does.
