Agreed! It's too slow paced and calculated to be a berserker style of gameplay. Hopefully, you gradually lose your marbles as you progress😂 and get more savage.

Agree, the "souls genre" it's ..interesting, it has great foundations and great details that most of other genres miss, but at the same tike it has a lot of limitations and restrictions that a lot of times hinders the gameplay of games outside souls saga

@@joeflhigl It's true that later on in the video he parries a bit more (it's also a different sound), but in the beginning it's simply blocking. I guess we wont know until we see a proper UI and more gameplay videos are available

The game have Potential but its to ungory thats a fact yes there is so much blood but not really satisfying gore after killing enemys no finishers they musst add something more to the gameplay in my opinion. Grafik is ok but nothing mind blowing cuz they use a comic style / cell shading optik its ok but nothing special....

They canceled BBQ after like 9Yrs of development just to try to make a Souls like because of the success of Elden Ring and yet this game looks like it’s gonna be very short and linear. What really gets me as well is all of these demo’s but no release date’s or demos for the audience to play. 👀👀👀

Wow, yet ANOTHER Souls -like game. Having said that, this actually looks like it could be good. Yes, it's a blatant ripoff and the levels look extremely linear, but, the environment detail looks nice and the combat impacts and enemy reactions look really good (so many of these struggle with that). Even if it's a ripoff, as like as it's well done I'll still play it!

The gameplay and environments look awesome but why is there only one enemy out in the middle of somewhere by themselves or two little imp creatures? It’s gotta make sense and why do devs screw the cosmetics of a Game up by making the armor look sooooo terrible! When the demo first started the dude looked bad azz but then the armor changed and now looks so bad im losing interest. I don’t want to play a game where my guy looks worse than every other character in the game. Sooooo many games do this and its truly disheartening

So they scrapped Project BBQ which had amazing combat and movesets to make a generic soulslike with unbreakable guard and anime style shaders on the character but realistic lightning on the environment . This thing looks more generic and soulless than Microsoft Generic Printer drivers. I don't usually comment on games that haven't launched yet but after 8 yrs of scattered BBQ trailers that thing is at least disappointing and on the verge of appalling ...

Souls games are boring to watch because of the slow pace of play. You only feel the intensity when it's your character that can get 1 shot by a chicken😂. Boss fights are better to watch because they usually move much faster than you or any enemies and close large gaps in an instant. But this seems more like a "no you go 1st, no you go 1st so I can parry!" Peek a boo game style. Graphics look awesome though.
