Everytime I run into people having questions I help them a lot. I see people rushing the story but then don't understand why they die so fast in hard mode. They got a lot of dialogue and quests to help understand the resetting the character to make it stronger but I noticed people skip the dialogue a lot

Best explanation to date and very easy to follow too. Got a solid team who understood the mission and I got Mid-Air Maneuvering, so when I grabbed the red cube right as the liquid was almost completely full I was able to shoot all over the battle zone and avoid his attacks. Then I flew off the side of the map and landed on a ledge which was interesting as you almost cannot get hit by his attacks there at all. Fell off and another player picked up the cube. We battled like that forever and eventually the red liquid went back down. Then crushed it.

So what I got from the comments is that there's people coming here because they don't know what to do. This boss single handedly convinced me that the best way to make a boss hard is to require players to do a very basic task that punishes them if they don’t know how to do it, and then make it so they can’t do it solo and have to engage with people that don’t know how to do that task and get everyone killed. Genuinely in disbelief abt how people made it all the way to this boss, but still can’t do basic mechanics and die constantly.

@@kaleidoscope3234 This bosses mechanics are super simple lol. It’s shoot until the vials fill up, grab cube, run while the others shoot until vials go down, put cube back. I noticed it immediately on my first run “hey there’s this giant ass altar that no other boss has, this probably has something to do with the fight” and figured out the mechanic on my second run no guide needed after the boss one shot everyone in the first run and I knew there had to be some way to prevent it. It’s really stupid that so many people can’t figure this out making farming this boss without a dedicated group hella annoying.

@@WhoStoleMyNachos how did you figure out your team was one shotted by the altar instead of the boss on your first run? was there a visual cue from the altar toward your team? and how did you figure out removing the cube stop the altar from charging up? how did you know boss go enrage and become invulnerable when there is a very long delay between removing the cube and the boss becomes enrages? how did you know putting the cube back turn the boss normal again? How did you figure out the tongue was it's only weakness during rage mode and you are supposed to break it, when your hand is occupied with the cube and the boss have more than one weakness, with the tongue the hardest to hit? You just standing in front of that thing charging up a near one-shot AoE attack and dying over and over? And most importantly, if you have it all figure out on the second run already, why are you here, on a "complete guide video" about the boss? What compelled you to type that "Hangman complete guide" on youtube search? Please do go through your entire thought process, I am very interested in your feat of ingenuity.

There’s a giant altar under the boss that no other boss has so it’s clearly not decoration, it’s not a herculean feat of logic and thinking to realize that hey there’s this altar with a cube in front of it and this boss has a supposedly completely random undodgeable team wipe that instantly ends the run, maybe these two things are connected. And then basic experimentation from there leads you to the rest of the info about the boss raging and breaking the weak point to reduce the blood in the vials. As for why I was on this video… there could be any number of reasons? I could be subscribed to this channel and clicked on the most recent video, I could’ve randomly clicked on a video that appeared in my feed, I could be commenting on how funny I find it that a simple bosses mechanics are too difficult for the average public intercept player to understand, there are any number of reasons other than me searching up a guide for a boss I can’t beat and then pretending it’s super easy in the comments lmao

Like everyone else is the comments is saying you got straight to the point and told us EXACTLY what we need to do instead of beating around the bush like all the other content creators. Unfortuonately I wasn't able to beat it just yet since I was running with randoms but I think once I grab my friends we can easily do this. The pulse at the center is the WORST thing imaginable. There is no indicator at all when it's going to show up and just pulses IMEDIATELY. and then the whole core mechanic is honestly great, I just wish the boss wouldn't move like CRAZY for that 4 seconds dps check otherwise this would've been alot easier for teams.

Note to devs, you don't ever have to actually make a boss fight hard. Just make it so you have to work with randoms to complete a single simple objective, you'll have them stuck for weeks

​@marc-andrelachapelle5707 I've played both of those and "mechanical" boss fights are always less fun than basic dps checks. I think Warframe's eidolons were the best mix of both and thought the monsters here were following in those foot steps. Having an invulnerable phase with a weak point to break is great enough for me. Running around with a cube while being constantly assaulted with no way to fight back and hoping 3 other people can land their shots on a target that wiggles more than a kid with adhd on a sugar high in math class, is not fun in the slightest. I have wiped like 6 times now because PEOPLE CANNOT DESTROY THE MOUTH CANNON. They just can't do it.

Clearly explained. There's one more mechanic that no one is talking about and its the damage modifier of Bust, Piece and Crush. Most of my scout rifles are crush and so is my tamer. The boss plates are weak to burst symbols. But I've seen guys break the tube with auto pierce and mine wasn't doing it. Just follow the reccomend pierce for mouth Piece. I just beat him as soon as I got this. 2 toxic pierce auto rifles and one toxic burst sub. Try to max atk.

Before timer Hit 8.00 min , its the key ,2 Times is the key for the mouth gun , if you done right He is Stunned and liquid Drops 50% ...pro tip stay together so that you dont waste time to reposition yourself for the mouth shot...if your Team is spread ,your pretty messsed up and it gets longer and longer...a good builded rocket Grenade launcher, if you not so good at aimimg is worth to mention...if your build a perfect sniper ,make use of it ,cause the base crit is higher ....for Max dps,keep range drop in mind , if you use thundercage for example over 25metre your dmg is 50% cut off ,which make the dmg race with the gun impossible

I was the runner and I also was the one to destroy the boss's mouth cannon, but the rage meter did not go down. Does someone need to be holding the cube at the moment when the mouth cannon gets destroyed in order for the rage meter to go down?

Hanged Man is a glass cannon, high damage but low HP base. Freyna's ult melts right through it's shields and HP. The only thing you could get stuck on is if you don't know it's gimmick with the "orbs" and the "mouth". Out of all the normal intercept bosses, Pyro is even more annoying to fight only because of his special skills and the insane aoe of his attacks. Plus he move arounds unlike HM who just stationary which makes dodging much more predictable.

yeah the lasers are very hit or miss depending on which descendant you are playing, although 90% of the playerbase are playing bunny when they reach this boss. I'd recommend looking for a group in the first descendant discord, probably more coordination there.

So this fight is basically all the collusi combined into one. Basically the game was building you up to fight this guy. Teaching the rage mechanics on the esrly two, the aoe on dead bird. I havent touched the other ones after dead bird since farming

@@MusashiHeadSplitta Most of the guides out for DPS aren't actually DPS increases. they mainly use fire rate mods which aren't actually good for boss fights as you want to preserve your ammo, not burn it. I'll definitely make a video for you, it should be ready in a day at most. When completing the campaign I only ran 3 mods on my guns. Rifling reinforcement, Better concerntration and Better Insight. That's it, the real DPS comes once you get Crystallization catalysts and you can mod your gun past the regular limit, you get one for completing the campaign.

Just kill it fast enough and you'll be fine, don't even have to do the mechanics. I've ran it now 4 times with randoms and we've killed it every time before the rage meter fills up. If you have a solid group it would be even faster.

I've done about 10 runs so far where almost everyone didn't do any damage. I get people camping in the back with a handgun. A HANDGUN 😅
