I admire that you stuck to it. I eventually just bought her after I discovered I was woefully underprepared for Invasions and even after they were made more reasonable found that they were just bad content regardless. I also agree with how strange it is that grinding base descendants is easier than some Ultimates. I practically got Ult Valby by accident and Ult Gley is practically falling into my lap compared to her base version. Neither of which I'm actually trying to get.

In the interview that I mentioned the director said the grind was going to be between Ultimate Valby and Ultimate Gley. So it shouldn't be to bad.

I started off grinding for Hailey only in dungeons just to avoid the invasions despite having a maxed lepic and slightly upgraded bunny but eventually I said screw it cause the invasions would make it faster but it’s more annoying on top of the fact not the same character works for all invasions (I tried it myself and failed) so building at least 3 characters for each type of invasion mission will drain u harder than the dungeon only Hailey grind

Er no. A bunny works fine for all of them. All you need after that is a weapon to out-dps the boss before it can heal.

I'm still grinding for her. Her first two parts are completed. Working on the next two. Also I am trying to get ultimate viessa and ultimate valby. I have two parts each for them. I do so much in a day before I need to just take a break from the game.

Yeah this same stuff happens similar with COD. New gun comes out in new season, KZbinrs make wacky gunsmith setups but even without the attachments, new gun was still pretty overpowered. Though said weapons were blocked behind the battlepass system so you have to continuously grind through it until you reach said level or pay with the wallet.

5:11 It really shouldn't be suprising that if Gley's Spiral is 6% drop chance from normal mode and you have to fight Hanged Man to crack the AM anyway, people figure that they might as well battle the 6% drop chance for all 4 Ultimate Gley parts and future-proof themselves lol. Yujin and Jaber have *even worse* drop chances for one of their parts too in normal mode, so this divide will only grow when they get around to making ulti versions of every descendant, and will continue to grow if they thought that they can release the Hailey grind as is, and reap good pr after making it easier later on.

its already a well entrenched and deep seated design philosophy in gaming to sell convenience, create problems to sell solutions, or artificially pad play time to maximize engagement. I can list game after game after game. Especially in this freemium model like TFD youre always going to get this. Ultimate descendants cost a comical amount in this game, the battle pass is garbage, and 90% of the shop is over priced gooner cosmetics. Personally I never cared about the grind. I was not in a hurry to get Hailey. I got the last part to build her on the 11th day. Seasonal challenges requires doing all 4 daily dungeons 25 times, by the time you are done you will end up having 300-500 Hailey parts. I do invasion dungeons for the gold, 25 days is 125 million and doing the entire season will give you 450 million. I'd rather do 20 minutes of these boring invasions than running in circles for hours.

Honestly those two weapons aren't that hard to grind in hard mode. You shouldn't have to that many runs.

Hailey is the type of character where if her materials mahically show up in my inventory, cool, if not then im not target farming her either.. and evem the amorphous materials for other ultimates.. they should look at warframes relic system where you its a community opening and you can take rewards from others

FYI: the max number of amorph you can get from dungeons is 2, not 3. Also, there’s no way you still think the grind takes too long when they buffed the drop rates (almost double so you get 20 parts per day) AND nerfed the invasion dungeons to oblivion. Like come on now, let’s be serious here. The current grind is fine.

Kind of a weird thing to FYI out of the entire video, but whatever. You are right it is is two. I was thinking of the chance at a stabilizer in the third spot on the selection screen. I said what I said. If you don't like it then you are free to go elsewhere. Edit: I agree with you on it being easier to do Invasions and the drop rates from dungeons being increased makes it easier than at launch. However, when you do Invasions, it's still rng on what parts you get at the end and you are limited per day. As you get 36 of each piece it gets harder to get the stuff you don't have or you need more of. Dungeons are a fill in the gap thing. The drop rates definitely helped this grind, but there were still times I went 5 or 6 dungeon runs w/out a Hailey piece. The grind for a base Descendant that takes longer than a few days max is a bad grind. This is my personal opinion.

I also did it thru dungeons cus I couldn't figure out where to find invasions lmao turns out I didn't do the quest yet. Took me 4 days. A day for each part and the golden part I got gradually when grinding other stuff. Spending a whole day one each dungeon was not fun NGL. Now I'm talking like 8hrs plus a day lol probably almost double that. Thank god I figured out how to unlock invasions and the last day I managed to snag like 10 parts I still needed

I bought Hailey day one after I tried invasions, that mode SUCKS. I was looking forward to buy Ultimate Freyna (my favorite character) but she isnt coming untill october. And since The First Descendant is my main game, I dont mind paying for a game that I actually like. I respect f2p gamers but for me if a game is good and not woke it deserves all the support I can give.

Man 400 runs is way to much! Bunny will demolish these invasions with a thundercage. 3 mins 30 second run they are quick and you get tons of gold. I suck at this game so if I can do it you definitely should take advantage of the gold drops if nothing else. High voltage and thundercage and you'll be clearing that stuff quickly😊

I don't think Thundercage can take the Boss with regenerating shield (not with the one with color bubble shield, that's easy). The puzzle is easy but the boss is annoying.

@@brodull1142 I mean there might be a few out of all of them you change up some weapons. I always carry thunder cage for adz and enduring legacy with sharp precision shot and Greg's etc you can swap between what ya need on weapons but she is a beast just in space clearing there is no competition! And you have options you're not forced to do the ones you can't and have 2 locations so it's not that bad! You don't have to even get gold there's plenty of time to clear it and for the gold alone it's worth it imo.

Now that I’ve gotten Hailey I have a different view on this grind. I don’t think that they were trying to push people to buy I honestly think they were trying to stretch out player’s interest in the game. I didn’t start playing the game until after Luna’s release and with less than a month and about 200 hours of playtime I have every descendant and only need 12 more guns to have everything in the game. When I complete my weapon collection I’m going to pick a couple to max out and put the game on maintenance mode already. So I imagine players that have been playing since launch already have the game in maintenance mode and waiting for Ult Freyna. For such a new game to have everything done in such a short time they are already facing the biggest problem Warframe deals with and that’s content droughts. And without the community already built up it’s going to be very hard to keep our attention.

GRIND!! you don’t kno grind until you grind every descendant and every single weapon(5 each)in the game..this all started with my hatred of grinding shards..so I said to myself ima take Sharen and get every single item that only drop from outpost so I don’t gotta fuck with shards anymore..or at least for a while..this turned into me getting absolutely everything except for peace maker..boy am I just having a ball trying to beat gluttony with a bunch of randos without proper builds…but that’s another story..until then the grind continues I’m literally just grinding random materials and gold to build everything

My issue with this game is that it doesn't respect your time at all. But this is the same publisher that literally faked drop rates in a few of their games to promote people swiping on stat rolls that didn't even exist in the game, so of course they're going to disrespect the player by making shit more tedious then necessary, while creating a FOMO effect on a character that they're going to nerf.
