Huh never noticed that. Loved the detail in this game. Story got a little confusing at first between this and eternal but still loved the story line in the first game.

I love how Doom 2016 level design is similar to Doom 3

Yeah the interior parts are so Doom 3-like but the large open areas are more arena shooter. Even in hell Doom 3 had really tight spaces lol
