At the time of release, this camera is 32 USD with a 32GB memory card. I'm a bit skeptical about this... There are not that many security camera with a 2k sensor with AI moving axis and human tracking at that price point. I would say this smells quite a lot like a scam. BE WARRY of these things...

Don't worry, you're not to blame for the privacy concern; as I said above, and I trust you heard about a while ago, Anker was caught in controversy after their Eufy cameras, which the company claimed stored data locally on the base station, were found to be sending unencrypted streams of the footage to the cloud without the consent of its users. I just wished to confirm that the Genie doesn't do the same thing.
