that is exactly the relationship between my cats and my rabbit the cats sniff the bunny, they poke the bunny with their paw (never with claws), they drink from the rabbit's water and the bunny could NOT care less. he barely gives the cats acknowledgment

Had a large bunny, and a former stray cat... It took a few days but the 15lb cat thought the 15 lb bunny was the greatest floppy eared play pal a kitty could have! They'd chase each other around the house and I'd find them in a mutual pile on my couch. Now the little female cat we had that was half the rabbit's size needed to by kicked across the room a few times in order to stop trying to hunt it..... Rabbit did the kicking on his own.
