Absolutely correct. Many years ago, an abandoned puppy stayed in the trash can shelter outside my grandparent's house and she was there for a day or so, Gran was hesitant to bring her in, because she thought an owner was looking for her. But soon she relented and took her in. Susie was usually a mild mannered dog, but whenever she noticed bad people around Grandma, she would go into a protective mode. When Grandma had to go into hospital for a month, Susie became stressed. Sadly she died one week before Grandma did, I guess she was getting ready to join her.

@@MrBricksy the bunny very well could have escaped its previous home. However it is very common for people to dump rabbits near wilderness instead of a shelter because they are somewhat considered wild animals and they think they'll survive fine and didn't realise that the shelter/rescues were options.

I had a bun for 10 years I’d say it’s more likely this poor baby escaped and got lost, my rabbit was almost as curious as a cat and always tried to get past the barricades we set up so she didn’t escape.

Such a bond between you ❤ as a bun mom, I know that their main diet is mostly Timothy hay and it’s important for their teeth as it doesn’t stop growing, and also some pellets. The carrots and bananas are for treats, but just a little. Too much can affect their digestion.

I have question regarding to pet rabit poop and pee. As far as I know its not like a cat who know where to do their bussiness. Please enlighten me..
@kellywhitaker892 жыл бұрын
@@shionmoon384 A rabbit should favor one corner of one room to do its business, so if you put a litter box there with some type of paper pellet litter or even CareFresh would work, then some hay on top of that (actually if you can, it's best to put their hay right above their litter box because they love to eat hay and go poopy at the same time, lol) they should take right to using it without any extra coaching, like a cat. Or if you're setting up before the rabbit comes, just pick a corner of the room where the rabbit can have some privacy and set everything up there. Then put the rabbit in the litter box first thing when you bring them in the house so that they can get used to it and will know where it's at. There may be the random turd here and there, but for the most part, they should keep to their box. My bun has never peed outside her box. Hope this helps! Any other questions, just ask and I'll do my best to help!!

@@jarvickh2326 Yes, they typically need a bunny friend to bond with in order to be happy. There are rare exceptions when they'll bond with another pet or maybe with a human like this one seems to have. But the majority need another bunny.
