Im pretty sure that castle nut will come off. The nut obviously doesn't get tight being up against the bearings. The Carter pin is there so the nut won't back off since it does not get very tight. But it's your truck

And that's way to much grease its just going to push its way out all over the wheel wells. Wow basically everything you did was completely wrong especially putting that much grease on the caliper bolts only need a little antiseize the grease will to a liquid and drip onto the rotors causing brake failure. I'm a mechanic have been for 20 years I've seen some dangerous things but wow this is brutal 😳

My grandpa has owned and operated his mechanic shop for over 40 yrs. Everything I did in this video was taught to me by the head mechanic whose worked there for 30 yrs plus. I’ve been a mechanic there myself ever since junior high up to this very date in my sophomore yr of college. I’ve done MANY of these brake jobs. Not one has come back bc of failure of any sort. A 2000 silverado spindle has the safer hub assembly and just fyi if anyone decides to go this route you will need to get a couple fitting adapters from a hard ware store to get the 2007 calipers to bolt to the obs brake lines. Not hating either think your truck is awesome overall just wanted to share some info
