Just a small detail I loved: The "Compensation for Coriolis force, gravitational force complete" bit got me hyped. Because I only really know about those things mattering to ballistic artillery, where the operator has to factor in the Earth's rotation and curvature in order to actually hit the targets. Just goes to show the range at which Mina locks in on that kaiju, and implies a lot about the power behind that cannon of hers.

Coriolis and gravitational pull refer to rotational (to be precise coriolis refers to the motion of the earth relative to the bullet) and well, gravitational, corrections. They do not factor curvature generally

We know if Mina didn't hold herself back she would have responded to Kafka screaming his mind out loud during ceremony with "Kafka-kun" 😂 Also Ichikawa prefering freeze rounds for his combat style is such a big tease, if you know you know 🤫

I did not read the manga but freeze rounds is a great idea in many Kaiju movies humanity beats monsters by freezing them, like Godzilla Shin.

This episode was really good, seeing the Captains in action (especially Hoshina, first time he did something). Next episode tho, yeah, it's gonna get even crazier, and then the episode after that is also going to be insane, like really. I can't wait for these two episodes! 😌

It's funny to put Joseph's "Nice" in this videos, since I'm thinking that our Kaiju imposter share the same VA, but I didn't search it to see if i'm right. Edit : So, after a little research, the human form is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, who is the VA for Joseph, but I forgot that is kaiju form was another VA, Hiroyuki Yoshino, so Present Mic in MHA.

I think it’s a combination of showing off a little as well as destroying as much of the giant corpse as possible to minimize the number of yoju spawned for everyone else to fight later. She’s not going to be much help with that end of the fight.

7:20 I think Kikoru secretly slowly develop feelings for Kafka >_< 10:41 The actual danger is that the dead monsters would be left behind the defense force's front line as they push forward. If those things respawn, they will be behind the front line and could attack their supply line or their backs and cut their escape route.
