Splitting straight grain wood doesn’t impress me. Throw some knot snarly wood in there and let’s see it work. If it can than I might be interested.

@@MetsaMachines I had a box wedge and went back to regular. Too many small shavings I found and if the wood doesn’t sit flat then the pieces are all sort of dimensions. I look forward to seeing what it can do

It looks to me that a Lot of your logs could be good sawlogs.are you competing with saw mills to buy timber?

At the shows, we buy logs from the show so there’s no issue there. In Wisconsin we also don’t really have an issue buying logs from our suppliers. We look at $100-$150 a cord for good firewood logs, but milling logs can range from a few hundred to over a thousand a cord depending on how perfect of a log and the species you want.
