It is the modern way.... times are changing as much a I agree with you. They have taken the driving away, but tbh there putting good times in, so fair play. I follow most uk fwd cars and love it. The german car are getting quick for that reason. I drive a 98 corsa b sport it's just more involved..... but things change yes it's a shame but it seems to work good.

There was a time that RWYB was pure muscle cars and rods , or Brit tin with V8s , now its German status cars , it is their time ,65 years later after drag racing was created they have taken interest. Even Supercars are now involved , that was a no no for them going Drag Racing. I prefer JDM than these German cars

Most of these are just slow or at best average :/ and most the drivers cant get them off the line for shit .... next yr pod will just be run what u brung and a bumb of bone stock financed boring junk turns up lol used be full of stupid builds twin engined random hatches ect now its a bunch of m140 m135i based cars and the usual golf r's ..... all gotten abit boring ... the car scene in general has beome stale sadly

They aren’t for me either but they do make very good daily cars for which you can bring places like this. I go on holiday to the US and if you go to the strip (there are plenty), you will find rough looking mustangs etc which are all in the 9’s or faster. Saw an old Volvo with an LS turbo running a low 9 😮. The difference is that in this country we have less time/money/space to invest in projects on the side.
