snoflake Have to agree with you here! But to be totally honest, Edward Green and Gaziano are on the same level. They just take different approaches, with Gaziano & Girling being sightly more fashion forward and Edward Green being more conservative and traditionally English.

Kirby Allison (CC:shimenga1) agreed if talking MTM/RTW. EG has mass RTW prestige given the legendary company that asked EG to manufacture. 👑 That alone lobbing EG all the way for RTW. Assume the man aspired to the sound of bespoke shoes. 💨 Sounds like he will settle with shelling out his expendable money on two or three pairs of non-bespoke instead and delay arrival at goal which he will wish he did to begin but wouldn't save and wait a few more months.🕵️‍♂️

A wonderful video! I really dig Gaziano & Girling; I like the fact that they are not snobby and they are humble yet proud of their work. I really regret not going in the their shop on Savile Row: I was in London a couple of months ago and left my family shopping while I headed off to the Row. I felt intimidated as I walked past the Gaziano and Girling shop front and I never went in :-( I wish I had gone in to enjoy the experience - even thought I can't afford the shoes... Well done those guys

In answer to your question about snobbery: there is nothing right about snobbery; the makers of the shoes in this video are not interested in snobbery - rather, they are interested in quality and an uncompromising artisanal aesthetic. Snobbery is therefore not only unnecessary, but would compromise the final shoe design.

Principally perhaps because you show the shoes with a clarity, both visually and verbally in a 'real time' manner to a degree which I the viewer can experience them as closely as one can without actually holding them in my own hands. Or they are talking about a product in hand and to be utmost appreciated you get close to best see details? The fitting in for camera excuse is considerate production thinking that we none-content creators aren't yet used to thinking.. Also FYI: two men do not need much ”personal space” (unless potential physical confrontation) as a man around a woman. But good for you for trying to point out how personal interactions could be improved. ✌️

Fantastic! I need some G&Gs in my collection. I love how the Chelsea Burnham has no seams along the side, but it still has the seam at the rear. I wonder if it would be better to get rid of the seam at the rear and leave the seams on the sides...

Hey Kirby, I have a pair of Allen Edmond's University's, and I had a question in regards to a situation with the leather on the shoe. I exclusively use Saphir products, and after developing and removing my first mirror shine on the toe of the shoe, they've developed an odd black spot on the toe area of the shoe. That wouldn't really be an issue, but now whenever I try to add a polish, even if not a mirror shine, the black spot turns almost into a gunk and it refuses to shine. Also, Saphir's Renomat does not remove the gunk and it completely baffles my local cobbler shop, which is also where I buy my Saphir products. Thanks, Michael.

Whenever I have a spot develop or a ding of some sort, which used to drive me crazy; now I ask myself will anyone notice it from 3 to 5 feet away. Usually for me, it is not noticeable. I tell myself it is a character mark.

I would like for you to do the same for other brands. Especially in the mid range and foreword. And PRICE is vital in communication. The reason I am interesting. I'm interested in 13 EEE ONLY OR 14 EEE sizes. This will help I'm sure many costomers. We are denied in many places. Another delema, I have flat feet.
