These vlogs of yours bring back so many memories of our walking and climbing days in the Peak and high moorland country of North Yorkshire. My wife and i are now retired in Catalunya Spain, where Snow comes sometimes, but never last more than a day or two. We so look forward to the content in your videos, you have a natural talent for bringing to our tv screens all the atmosphere of the great outdoors and cottage life. Keep up the good work, and don't ever loose that lovely smile of yours.

Thank you for another lovely, warm and cozy video Athena. Thank you for wanting to share your holiday spirit so much so, that you put your other work aside. That's a beautiful gesture. I hope you won't get too overwhelmed trying to do everything that you need and want to do. Remember, to always take some time for yourself to be at peace...especially this time of year. Anything you put in a video is lovely, so, don't work too hard. I hope you, Harvey and Oslo (of course) are having a lovely holiday month so far. Blessings and light from the Adirondack Mountains (northern New York state - U.S.).🌲❄⛄

Lovely video as always. I especially enjoy your cottage diaries, beautiful bread and scenery. I would love to here more about how you ground yourself. I started grounding again this summer by going out in my backyard with my book, blanket and dog. I would lay on my blanket with my feet in the grass and read, what a wonderful feeling it gave me. Alas winter has arrived but have been walking In nature. Bee well and safe

Thank you for a really good watch for a Sunday evening . You really captured the anticipation and excitement we feel when snow is coming to the peak and you live close by . Standing at the platform in the city knowing you will be soon walking up to snow at ringing roger is one of my favourite ways to spend a winters day

Another beautiful video. I love the cosy vibe of your cottage, and the calm your videos bring. Wonderful music choices, many make it onto my music library immediately. I think you may be my favourite you tuber! Off to look at those baubles and those candles now too. Looking forward to your next video already, I always feel a bit sad when one is over, may have to go back and rewatch some of your older ones again!

Thank you Athena, a lovely start to December. I doubt if I will get much snow on the south coast! I've written a journal/diary since 2012, after not being well. I find it centres and helps me enormously, especially writing with a fountain pen. It slows me down. A, x

Looks so cold even Oslo thought so thank you for sharing love the scenery with the snow, I can remember as a child living in the UK the birds would break the foil on the milk bottle or the milk might be frozen to the doorstep, no such problems in a sub tropical climate, be safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I watched this on a beautiful somewhat windy summers day. Christmas here marks summer, here being Pegasus New Zealand where we live in the side of a small lake a mile or so from the sea and a sandy beach. Such a contrast to your world. Love your videos they capture the simple good things in life like baking sourdough bread.

Been dipping into your channel for a while now, delightful films, beautifully filmed and very thoughtfully edited. I used to make films like yours for the BBC when lightweight camera/computer editing first reached broadcast quality so I know exactly how much work goes into each of your items, it’s hard work and in your case the way you weave the pictures and actuality sound and well chosen music is exceptional, always hugely enjoyable... many thanks.

Oslo is such a good looking dog!!! Lovely colouring! Love your cold weather walks. You make it look so nice even though its freezing and muddy! If you go walking up a hill to see the sunset isn't it pitch black when you have to make your way down again? How do you do that then? Use a torch? Would love to know the logistics of that. Nice wintry video.

Hi, came across this video by chance whilst having coffee. How refreshing to find an interesting vlog by someone who seems so 'normal'. Is 'normal' good?! Well, what I mean is it's not over the top, gushing and with a very obvious eye to making money as many are. It seems more real. Not yet read your backstory but thanks for this one and will subscribe. Great scenery and Oslo looks such a lovely pooch. Take care x (from down by the Solent)

Sending you loads of love as usual Athena. I completely agree with you about journaling. It helps so much doesn't it - getting everything out of your brain...

I love your vlogs, they are so comforting :) I'd really love to know how you journal; do you use prompts? What kind of things do you write down; goals, ideas, plans? I always start but later on, if I read it back, I'm embarrassed about the things I write. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
