Hi, thank you so much for all these videos! Very helpful! My autistic daughter is a non verbal autistic (5yrs old) and she stims by rocking her body while sitting in the "W" shape/form. Could you pls suggest any physical activities I can do at home according to her stimming? Appreciate your help🙏

Obviously I can’t speak for your daughter, because I have not personally evaluated her. However, for my clients when I see them doing lots of rocking movement, I tend to do lots of activities in which they move forward and backward in space, such as swinging. If you want a personalized plan, it is best to find a local pediatric physical therapist who can help you.

Meet sensory needs first. Yes! Every autism parent needs to become a sensory system master. Never stop learning about the sensory system! Learn about how the sensory system works. Learn about the different types of sensory systems and sensory integration (e.g., tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive). If the sensory system is not healthy and well integrated, then the autistic child cannot be successful in much of anything. Set up your child for success.

Hi, thank you for sharing this videos. They are very helpful. My son has autism and he is 2.5 years old. My question is what exercises do you recommend to strength his core? He is starting to walk in his own but his back has a little curvature when he is sitting.

Your best option would be to find a local pediatric physical therapist who can provide your suggestions that are specific to your child. I have performed a variety of course strengthening exercises on different playlists on my channel. I have an abdominal strength And a back strength playlist. Maybe this video will point you in the right direction

I believe on my answering questions playlist on my address, how to work with some children who don’t want to be touched. There might be a couple related to that in this playlist. kzbin.info/aero/PLAkJbMrHyKjMk8do_OQF2TpfYk1kNZLZ9
