A lot, a LOT, of people didn't get those Mortis episodes. They were basically a repeat of the 6 Star Wars movies and The Clone Wars. Despite what you heard, the Daughter is the Jedi Order; the Father is the Jedi Council; and the Son is the Sith; Mortis itself, especially the land, is the Force/galaxy. That dagger was the Clone Army. If you go back and watch those 3 episodes again, now, with that in mind, you'll recognize 6 movies. As soon as Anakin, Ahsoka, and Kenobi exit the ship, they become participants in a sort of stage play prophecy that begins with The Phantom Menace. Remember how the Jedi came to Anakin on Tatooine, wondering about his identity as the Chosen One? Then they took Anakin back to the Jedi Order, but on the way they were attacked by Darth Maul. That's exactly what happened at the beginning of the first Mortis episode. The Daughter approached Anakin asking about his identity, then immediately said she wanted to take him to her Father, but she was attacked; and she claimed that it was her brother that did it. It goes on like this throughout all 3 episodes. The Jedi commissioned the making of the Clones but it was the Jedi that was killed by it. The same as with the Daughter producing the dagger, but she was the one killed by it. So to answer your question, No.

@@user-yc9vv9xb8s But he can't wield it. He can't even touch it. He was not in a physical reality, but some other kind of place. Mortis, that other ethereal reality outside of both time and space, crumbled when the 3 godlike influences were all dead. Anakin, a physical person in a physical reality, has no way of touching any part of that other realm, at least not until he became a Force ghost. But again, that whole arc was a prophecy. When Anakin very suddenly killed the Son (that is, when Darth Vader, in an unexpected and sudden move killed Palpatine, then he himself died, so that the Sith no longer existed), the prophecy ended. The Clones, (that is, the dagger), also don't exist. What is Anakin wielding, then?

I do hope to see Luke Skywalker, even if for only 5 minutes, wielding The Darksaber, in The Mandoverse. The fact that Sabine was able to eventually become connected to The Darksaber, lends credence to her mild connection to The Force, and her clan's connection to House Vizsla and the legacy of Tarre Vizsla.

@@dankcraft7386 The hilt of The Darksaber was destroyed, but the unique crystal that's within can still be transferred to a brand new Beskar (and Cortosis?) hilt, creating a new Darksaber for a New Age in Mandalorian History. I can't imagine a new, retaken, reconstituted Mandalore, without a newly created Darksaber for this new time. Imagine if Din Grogu ever gets to wield that thing, even if it's just to give it to Bo Katan.

I think that the way the darksaber is represented by Disney is a more accurate reflection of how George Lucas meant lightsabers to be. Jedi create them by hand , and have a special connection to their personal weapon. The lightsaber, I don’t think, is a weapon meant to be casually wielded by just anyone. Even Grevious only wields lightsabers he has taken from Jedi personally killed by him, as though he has subjugated both the weapon and the Jedi himself. It feels to me like Disney, as with everything that they touch, are slowly cheapening both the lightsaber and the Jedi.

I think it’s because Din never used a lightsaber, which in turn, when he grabs/uses the Dark Saber, it becomes much heavier. If only Kanan taught Luke how light the dark saber truly is.

So George Lucas had a legends and canon before 2012? Lightsabers are supposed to be lightweight. The things that George Lucas or the first 6 films and Star wars: the clone wars mentions about lightsabers is the true canon, what the Kanan Jarrus and Luke said is only describing Disney canon.

Fun fact the Dark Saber technically belonged to Luke in Canon. Palpatine was the first person to defeat maul, then Vader beats him and then Luke technically beats Vader. And then half as a joke but the Mando defeats luke when grogu chooses him over luke killing him and creating Jake skywalker
