Hi Wolf, I was your opponent in round 6 and I was really happy to get to play you, the whole match was an awesome experience, good games! The reason why I went for surging strikes and not aqua jet in game 3 was because my urshifu was 252 hp/212 spdef and it was made to take dazzling gleam from a specs flutter mane from full hp, so I thought it likely would have taken the hit at that range and decided to go for that move. We also met at the wcs this year, hopefully we will meet again in Hawaii!

@@AaronAlert77 Still, the Problem is that in the current format, urshifu is a must have. It just doesnt make sense not to run it because you would just make your team weaker. Its just too overpowered.

You can give up Urshifu if you want to be less susceptible to his many common weaknesses, which requires to build a slightly more defensive team which can succeed, but with Flutter Mane you either have it or lose to it, since it counters itself with ghost being weak to its own ghost STAB and without a way to counter opposing manes you are in a much bigger disadvantage.

tera watering urshifu to destroy your opponent is very interactive gameplay and interesting use of tera yea the power creep is going through the roof i also don't get some moveset nerfs like, taking knock off from many pokemon is good taking power whip and heat crash from copperajah or taking superpower from lurantis is nonesensical and giving urshifu swords dance and trailblaze is just silly

IDK why i had this thought whilst watching this but I came up with a pokemon ability that in my head sounds so fun and yet so broken at the same time. I think I'd call it "Equivalent Exchange": the Pokémon can choose to focus a spread move into a single target attack gaining a 1.5 boost to the moves BP but will suffer from either a status effect or lose 20% of their max HP at the end of their turn (it'd be dependent on the move type). The ability can only be used once each time the pokemon hits the field so just like intimidate or fakeout you can reuse it by swapping the mon out which comes with its own dangers to play around. Probably need to blance it by giving the mon a middle of the road Atk, SpAk and Spd as well as low HP and high Def and SpDef so its frail can hit realitively hard and can take atleast one or two hits before going down.

Hey, since gen 9 already has its dlcs, i have a prediction for gen 10, the new mechanics, we had mega that changes forms, z-move changes move, dynamax changes move and form, tera changes type, what's left, ability. So it can be either adding new ability or activating all possible abilities of a pokemon, i definitely prefer the later, it would make normal pokemon more powerfull while not buff legendary and mythical at all cause they usually only have 1 ability, i really wanna use loaded dice with my favorite technician Cinccino, and excadrill gonna be Uber, lol
