Unpopular opinion, but I wish they made the crafting and collecting less of a time sink again. All the material level qualities and whatnot just feel like a slog.

and they dont want player power to be acquired with no effort, so as long as you want profs to matter, something's gotta give. yes it sucks, but if anything the real slog was the slog to acquire the skill points, i'm hoping that they can smooth that out at least.

You've got deftness, and resourcefullness, and inspiration and mettle and numerous sparks, and material levels and 800 different skill points to acquire and multiple option reagents...and I know I'm leaving out things but I honestly can't remember the rest.

@@41Nizmo i get that, but at the same time i cant agree, i like the added complexity and the different skills themselves are not the problem. the stats you mentioned determine Speed, Quantity and Quality all while Mining veins and seams. that means that i can focus on one of those stats depending on what i want more.

There's going to be people genuinely upset that time and resources were spent on Arachnophobia mode. Whereas I find it funny, and knowing how models are pulled in these games, it's a simple reference table to implement, and the foundations already exist with things like the Corgi goggles etc. That said, even as someone who's squicked out by sliders, I do find it hilarious that it's there

I'm actually baffled that this is even a thing regardless of how much resources it used. Have the people grown so soft to be afraid of spiders in WoW? (especially that they are not even realistic looking). It's like being afraid of heights in a video game. Just silly.

I guess youve never had a phobia. It doesnt matter if it’s real or fake. The mind still reacts the same. I have claustrophobia. Im sitting in a large room and still can feel uncomfortable watching a caving video. Had a panic attack over Nutty Putty vids. Or Trypophobia. Fear of holes. People make those photoshop images just to make people uncomfortable. You know they’re fake, but your brain still wants to feel violently ill with them. Some have this issue with spiders. So with an expansion based on spider creatures, it makes sense to do this

@@DouglasD7kThese people are literally committing micro-aggressions against neurodivergent people and they’re acting like it’s no big deal. Like I can’t even play a video game with spiders in it…like they really don’t get it. It gives me major trauma and I can’t. It’s the same with binary gendered characters. The game has so many characters that look like they’re depicting the male/female binary. As a queer non-binary person, that is literally triggering for me. Blizzard NEEDS to do better by adding a filter that makes all characters appear without gender. It is the least they can do to make the game more accessible for queer people like me.

As an unabashed altoholic, I'm curious if the same non-repeatable activity (i.e. questing through the main storyline) will apply reputation from the second character too, now that renown is to be account-wide. I wish it does, but I'm assuming it doesn't, since it'd likely make the optimal way to grind renown to have many, many alts. Am also hoping there will be some catch-up on profession knowledge points for professions you've already maxed on another character. As an example, branching out differently if you have three blacksmiths - one to armor, one to weapons, one to smelting bars - is advantageous early on, but once any of them have filled out all the skill wheels, I'd love for my seventh or so blacksmith to have a slightly easier time getting the skill points. ...and yes, I will get my 50+ alt army all the knowledge points. That's been Dragonfilght for me; two days a week farming knowledge points. I'm still baffled you can't *buy* skill points with artisan's mettle at this point. Selling excess points for mettle is nice, but that's not what my alts care about, and I can't "mentor" my alts with my crafting master charas by leeching excess points either. Either way - if the profession system won't see any significant changes in War Within, at least the renown being account-wide will save a LOT of time for renown-locked profession knowledge tokens.

I want follower dungeons to be warband dungeons. That would be the absolute best use of warbands. Let me gear out and blow through dungeons with ai controlling the rest of my warband.

@@timgersh6787 unfortunately that's GONNA happen at the end of an expansion, been that way almost 20 f***in years, no matter how good the expansion. this is the time where folks take a break, rest and recover, so that when the new expac is out, you're ready to dig into it. it is physically impossible for the game to have content enough to placate you for the full 2 years, or in this case closer to 18 months.

what about professions man why can I not craft stuff for my own alts from another server. can I send crafting orders from my us server to my oce characters. Why arent crafting orders included in warband why do i need 5 leatherworking toolmakers if i want stuff on 5 different servers

those warband bank prices are a bit insane, especially for us more casual players who struggle to even scrape up enough gold for one token per month, on EU realms especially. Hopefully there are some hefty gold sources to offset this high price. 2.5 mil is required to just unlock this feature, and then 3 mil to unlock all tabs. That is a bit much by any standards i would say. Clearly they want players to buy them tokens to turn into gold. I see what you are doing Blizzard

If I misinterpreted I apologize but that number isn't correct at all. it costs 3M to unlock all the slots but only 1K to start, followed by 20K, 100K, 500K then 2.5M for the rest

Like I can’t even…while I appreciate the arachnophobia setting (I’m neurodivergent and CANNOT look at spiders, so I WILL be using this feature), this simply does not go far enough. As a non-binary queer, I am not able to handle seeing heteronormative, binary depictions of gender. Despite this, Blizzard continues to feature characters in the game that are obviously part of the gender binary. To see binary, cisgender individuals is literally triggering for me. To make me have to play the game with those characters in it is super gross and gives me the literal ick. Like tell me you don’t care about trans and non-binary people without telling me you don’t care about trans and non-binary people. Like I can’t even with this…

I do not like Spiders an look close they are very non human, like dogs but unlike dogs its hard to understand them because lots of eyes giant fangs to many legs. However its to bad since we live in a world with spiders and it pisses me off they waist time and money to add in this thing
