I don't get it. How is the Hobie grip too big to get into a small fishes mouth? Are you stuffing the whole thing in there or just the top part of the tip?

Won’t fit panfish. Some people just want to use grips to avoid touching the fish, so they need the metal grip for panfish.

the fish grip is made by the norton rattle fish grip, not hobie although they do sell alot of them under their own name possibly through a private contract. Boga grips are over rated and most tournaments are by the length and picture, not weight, since kayakers can't cull fish with limited space.
