Kalmeer maar net gou vir my. I don't get the big deal here, the fish is safely released and will have a good life. If you care so deeply you about the sharks, you should pour your displeasure into the hundreds of thousands of sharks that are being culled and thrown overboard (in our waters) by Chinese vessels. Those sharks get culled for their fins and the remains of the carcass is thrown overboard. These Chinese vessels even operated during lockdown, you should be far more concerned for the big companies and not the little man who is fishing sustainably. If you don't believe me, go have a look at a vessel named 'White Rose' she is a well-known vessel that likes to r*** our oceans.

Im sorry you feel that way, though i don't fish for bronzie, nor have the opportunity to. There are some videos out there that show fishing for bronzie actually helped them for research. They would tagged them and study them.

Bronzies usually release quiet well, not to much wrong with the release that I could see, it's the raggies that are weak swimmers that can struggle to release. Bronze whalers are far more common than most people know.
