That cody blindisde was so saddening for me. I loved cody & I felt so bad for him. He wasn't ever gonna take out Jesse because after Lying to Nneka that hse wouldn't be going home (he night she did) cody coudn't bear to vote off Jesse becase of he did everything wtih him. ( also just loved cody's enerrgy & everything, hopefully he returns for a another season)

I do not enjoy modern survivor because of all the ridiculous twists, but I do enjoy modern survivor because these casts are seriously good. They’ve all adapted so well to the numerous, plentiful, and questionable twists.

If I may add as a fun fact: It's not technically new era because it's not US Survivor but i think Fraser blindside from Australian Heroes vs Villains would definitelly fit the list of wildest contemporary Survivor Tribals. Highly reccomend watching.

I’d swap the Cody and Omar boots personally. The strategic maneuvering and emotional punch hit harder in my opinion. The only thing Maryanne’s move has over it is that it was actually a game winning move, but that’s kind of results-oriented. Surprised the Shan blindside didn’t make the cut. Also I’ve always felt like the JD vote in 41 is an underrated blindside.

I still think the Maryanne move was one completely stinking with luck. The only reason her move worked was because Lyndsey & Omar made an actively bad move by not playing the idol that was going to expire after the tribal not wanting it to be rehidden but it was expiring so it was going to be rehidden no matter what… so she got extremely lucky that they were stupid It was a good move, but not one that should’ve worked had everyone actually done the logical thing

It was an impressive move and made for a really intense tribal but I do agree. Did Lindsay ever say why she didn't play her amulet idol at the final 6 for Omar?

@@BanditSurvivorContentyes because she thought if she played it for him that it would be rehidden the next day & someone else would’ve found it but it was going to expire that round anyway so if it was going to be rehidden it was going to be rehidden no matter what so she may as well have just played it to save her closest ally & a shield for herself next round
