Rudy West a great great singer with the Five Keys but don't forget about Maryland Pierce who sang most of the leads for the Five Keys. He had a different kind of lead (more bluesy) than Rudy West. I can see him singing My Saddest Hour. No it wasn't all Rudy West 39% of the leads, Maryland Pierce 40% of the leads. The other 21% was scattered among other singers in the Five Keys. One of the greatest doo wop groups!

Hey Dickie Smith was an excellent lead singer in his own right. In fact there are some doo-wop aficionados who feel Dickie had a better voice than Rudy.
