Me as a black man from America as well, feel the very same thing brother. At this time in my life I feel a void in my being and don't consider myself a religious person but I'm starting to rethink that. When I listen to spiritual people talk (of different and many religions) I feel something pulling me n I like it!

@@itzs1nghzk1ng I've come to such realizations already and I do not fear what is going to most definitely happen as it is a natural process. Sikhism doesnt belong to hindusm. These two are different practices. I respect hindusm but please dont comment if u dont know it properly. First guru was born in hindu family doesnt make sikhs hindus. They have originated a different faith . Just being born in some specific religion doesnt make you that. @@gourabmukhopadhyay7211 Sir with all due respect; The point you just laid, they prove respect of Sikhs to other religion and dont make us Hindus. By your points, Shri Darbar Sahib's (Golden Temple) first brick was laid by Muslim Saint, Kirpan of Guru Gobind Singh as Urdu n Persian written over, words like Allah, Peer, Fakir etc came numbers of times in Gurbani, Sixth Guru made Mosque for Muslims, Maharaja Ranjit Singh make Temples and Mosque tax free, does that make us Muslims ?? NO !! Its a concept of Respect and humanity we follow. Also when its comes to battles, its was Pahadi Hindu Rajas who join hands with Mughals in 13 Battles again Guru Gobind Singh, we dont hate anyone, we just believe in mutual Respect or Respect of good people.

@@DJPlay1 keep your rubbish with you of what you said about battles. Let me tell you even Hind kings fought against themselves. You did not understand the difference between the religious wars and the wars for power or something else. Sikh gurus just did not appear from nowhere. They were sons of "Hindustan"...You might not have heard the line what sikh king / guru said about Hindustan ..It is "Kusmanth na manna iya Hindustan raya"..Which means they are inseparable from Hindustan.

Sikhism don't follow Hinduism or snatan dharma in any way shape or form. guru nanak dev ji never accepted or practiced Hinduism. he was first sikh. he started a new religion with everything new because Hinduism was filled with inequality, cast system, hate against women and so much more.. Sikhism don't follow any of what Hinduism was doing. So Sikhism can't be called a branch. to be a branch they have to connected in anyway. but there is no connection.

The ancestors of European folk originated in northern India and Iran. When they made the journey many of their traditions were brought with them. I'm amazed of how much vedic culture was preserved in early pagan European history. We also wear a metal wristband grow the beard and carry a blade for the same purpose. We human beings are all the same, only we let ego divide us.

Explanation is good. But Kakkars are more than just symbols. Both internal and external spirituality is significant. And please don't differentiate 1st guru and 10th guru, there are the same jot. Even Bhai Mardana was not allowed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji to cut his hair. Please don't make kakkars just symbols. The apex of spirituality can never be achieved with cut hair. That's the reason all prophets, Gurus, Avatars had unshorn hair.

With due respect, I wanted to know the explanation of 5 ks of Sikhism is written in any Sikh history by 10th Guru or you just making it by your own explanation.

A true spiritual master is dedicated and leads people to God. A true spiritual master creates true spiritual masters. Jesus Christ was different He wasnt crucified for looking a particular way. Or trying to convert people to a faith. He was trying to bring a faith to people. He was leading them to God not to a particular philosophy and mindset. Its what makes Jesus Christ different from all the other masters.

The worst part about studying Indian history is that thanks to Square-Enix has ruined the word Mughals for me, kupo.

If reincarnation is really true, then sons of guru gobind singh, his father and guru arjan dev are responsible for their own deaths. Mughal emperors are Innocent of their deaths. Their own karma in previous lives caused them to die such horrible way. Now don't blame any mughal emperors. From Ex Sikh!

This podcast is for people who understand and respect pluralism and the different paths of spiritually. Not bigots who clearly have hate for other traditions and practices.

@@theseeker8331 Are you the manager of this podcast? I suggested to bring Ali Dawah just to discuss the various concepts of Islam, not for a debate. Ranveer will ask questions and he will just answer and explain them. It is very important for the audience to have clarity about the concepts rather than believing what the media shows. Also Ali is similar aged to Ranveer so he can have a more open and chill conversation.

These reminder are gifted by guru Not just human being When you see a person with a Kirpan, that is a sign that this person is a memeber of the Khalsa, he is ready to give his/her life for justice at anytime Hair eve. Krishna had long hair Every messenger came to this world had long hair so why doubt ?? it's the uniform given by our guru to enter the school of Waheguru! with this uniform ..u can attend HIS class and u will face HIS tests (i mean the challenges in day-to-day life).. if u still remember HIM during difficulties ... u r passed!! now to be in school... u have to also obey the discipline of school given by the principal (Waheguru) and instructed thru our gurus on the form of Rehat!! and this school's timings r 24hrs..7 days of week

Watch the video with the Nihang explaining it. Nihangs do not twist things, although this explanation is true, but there is more deeper meaning as per the ancient scriptures. It's in Punjabi, you may need someone to explain if you don't understand.
