The reason they’re evil is canon to the books. They really do only see the pictures, and since the one picture of “the yellow bunny” on the wall depicts him benevolently, they all are loyal to him. Same thing that happens in the silver eyes.

Movie literally uses the same plot as the first book, but severs the other books by having the protagonist be human. (proven by having a daughter.) Because of this large diversion, the story in the movie's potential sequel or third movie may take a different turn.

@@_Idgaf_Ok_some people believe this William Afton is different, in the sense that he is likely far more aware of remnant and agony and all that by this point in the story line, so while this is definitely his first death, the implication is that he knows how it works which is why he put the mask on, thus securing his existence as spring trap. This would make a lot of sense given how much he knows about controlling the children and how long he’s been doing this kind of thing, and gives a lot more credence to why Vanessa is even in the movie at all

The kids in the animatronics being the antagonist goes along with the books as Dave Miller(William Afton’s secret identity) can control them, as the kids are confused and blinded by agony and rage and will attack anyone seen as a threat. Insane game idea: The Wild Wild Western front. The game is just a continuation of the Rdr storyline that follows Jack Marston enlisting in the US army in 1917. Of course, boot camp would be the tutorial, and it would be somewhat open world. Like you can do what you want, but at or before a certain time, you need to report to your commanding officer to go on the next mission. Also honor would be a thing, but instead of getting bc cheap stuff people will share rations and stuff with you. And cutscenes would still changed based on honor

I am the only person I know who noticed that Mike walks on a pane of broken glass when he first enters the pizzeria. In SB, in Sun's room there is a pane of glass, and when you step on it it makes a sound effect which, despite SB being a very rushed game with reused assets, never appears anywhere else in the game.

The robots are evil in the games as well. This is because when the entered the "spirit world", their memories were wiped and William Afton manipulated them into thinking he was the good guy. That was the reason the robots turned on him in the end, because they were told the truth by the little kid (Abby).
