Love how you breakdown the Arabic verb into five fundamental patterns/components of the language. I have searched for this for awhile now & found it in your wonderful video. Thanks. Really appreciate what you have done here.

Well actually, there is infinitive verb, if you wanna say "I want to study arabic" it means "uriidu an adrus araabiyah" in arabic. That's what i learnt in middle school

No. “an adrus” is not an infinitive it is a subordinate clause with the subordinator “an” (that) and the verb “adrus” (I study) which is subjunctive. So when you say uriidu an adrus you’re actually saying “I want that I study”

Instead of 'Five parts of a verb' it should have been named as 'Five forms of a verb'

I would say that along Past and present there is another form of verbs in Arabic , in English you just don't have a separate definition of that type - yes you use it but with your same main verbs used for another tenses - o.k...now let me tell you what that is, it is called in Arabic (فعل الأمر( Fealu Al Amr, or DO IT VERB... eg. Do it - work. افعلوا - اعملوا - افعلي - اعملي - افعل - اعمل eg. eat it - take it. كل - كلي - كلوا - خذ - خذي - خذوا . etc.it is different way of using verb, yes it is always at present...
@ProbeUranus9 жыл бұрын
+ابو جاسم There's a separate video for that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJrZoKiceM-qaqc

*Assalaamu 'Alaikum, is this the Levantine dialect, or MSA?, shukran.*
@ProbeUranus6 жыл бұрын
This is MSA. Levantine works the same way, fundamentally. The main present tense is different because of its prefix.
