In this June webinar our panellists will discuss the prevalence of financial abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect as well as how these types of elder abuse typically occur in real-life scenarios and what can be done to prevent and respond to them.
The panellists will also look closely at what the data from the National Elder Abuse Prevalence Study and the Elder Abuse Helpline tells us.
You will get expert and practical information to better understand, prevent and respond to the abuse of older people. Much works needs to be done to coordinate, develop and better meet the complex and pressing challenges of combatting elder abuse in Australia. Your involvement is necessary to create the change required.
