Holy shit they sound good. I miss this 80's sound floating over the airwaves so much. Very happy to see they are true to their original style, unlike some older bands who try to follow the current trend.

Absolutely the most underrated band ever. Taken in to account longevity, consistency of members, number of albums, musicianship, Chart successes, and the list goes on. Plenty of underrated bands that had two or three albums, around for a a few years, but cant hold a candle next to the Fixx.

I've loved this group since back in '82 when I lived for some time in London. They were part of hundreds of great British bands that basically dominated the radio waves all over the world. Still as good as ever.

Saw these guys in the mid 80’s in Fresno California, opening for either the Police or Journey, and they killed it. This right here sounds way better than the track on the CD. I’ll love this band so much till my last breath.

One of the best pop songs in decades, IMHO. Just unreal. Nothing fancy but just unreal. Wish I could come up with shit like this. The hypnotic guitar stuff is BIG TIME, the keyboard stuff as well. A shame that Cy Curnins solo album was never released (or was it?). Bruce Gaitsch provided some great stuff there. Will continue being a Fixx-fan, although I'm a hard rocker.

For some unknown reason, I really prefer this live-version over the original studio-track. The guys were in such perfect-form, it's clear to see that this is one of their favorite songs to perform. I can easily imagine the day (way back, while rehearsing how this song should come together) when they looked at each other, and just KNEW lightning had struck, and they had created something really Magical.

This is good song. I just saw them at an outdoor free show where suprisingly I got right up to the stage for the whole concert. They performed VERY well! They played so many other songs other than the popular ones from the 80s. Jamie West Oram is something else to watch play that guitar! They just played and played...didn't waste a lot of time talking! See them if you can. They have such a unique sound!

This new Fixx album "Beautiful Friction" is AWESOME! Best album they've put out in years. And this title track is one of their best songs ever, in my opinion. No other band creates music like this anymore, and why should they? These guys are 30 years strong with a great backlog of great records. I'll be at the Canyon Club show next week. Can't wait for Jamie's killer clean tone and Cy showing me why he is one of the best frontmen in rock.

One of vary few classic rock bands who used a 5 string bass. Dan K. Brown, who is known to play both fretless and fretted bass, played a NS Design NXTa Radius 5 string fretted bass that you could feel in your bones. His stoic appearance is in stark contrast to his varied, melodic, and rhythmic bass lines.
