@@pinder262 no, because it was Pellaeon's command vessel first as a Cpt. Then later was his flagship after it was recaptured, then it remained his flagship after Reaper was destroyed until it was crippled in the YVW. It is specifically mentioned as Pellaeon's flagship in multiple novels. Thrawn attached his flag to Chimeara for just over a year, but Pellaeon used it as a flagship for over a decade.

Ackbar's MC90 is seen prominently in the Absolute Enhancement Mod for Star Wars: Empire at War. I can tell you, it is a deadly threat, and is always a ship that I hunt down every time it respawns. The only real way to take it down is overwhelming firepower from at least 4 Star Destroyer MK IIs, more than one Allegiance-class Battle Cruiser, or masses of bombers that likely won't come back alive.

My favorite flaagship is the Raddus /s Hope that Star Wars: Resistance and other stories give us a bigger look at the New Republic Navy(and hopefully show us a goddamned Starhawk) and have a few little scenes with Ackbar post-ROTJ. I know there's people out there who love Ackbar, but honestly, for most people who watched Star Wars, he was just a funny fish person.

FYI Daala didn't die over Yavin, she survived but handed command to Pellaeon before disappearing for many years into the Maw. In 41 ABY Pellaeon summoned her with his dying breaths to fight at the second battle of Fondor, during the Second Galactic Civil War, and she appeared with the Maw Irregular Fleet and absolutely STOMPED both Caedus's GA and most of the Imperial Remnant fleet, then went on to fight at the battle of Nickel One. She became the Head of State of the GA after the war, when she exiled Luke and brutally suppressed the Jedi before being ousted in a coup and arrested.

FBI 1987, even then you would need to know which Spartan II as well, because they all had minor, but significant, differences, John was average (in spartan terms) but lucky, Kelly was the fastest, Linda the best shot.... and so on.

going on Halo 3 multiplayer health values, if every shot lands it takes 15.333 AR rounds to kill a spartan. lore wise, the MA5C generally fires an m118 7.62x51mm AP round, with an average energy at the muzzle of 2472ft-lb. meaning it takes about an impact of about 20,000 ft-lb energy from kinetic weapons to overload the shield. the armor would be a bit different in real life, but I have a feeling that it could shrug off quite a bit of 5.56mm and fragmentation. the other issue that arises, is spartans are a lot faster in the lore than they are in game, so even if a marine squad got an m240 on him, actually trying to kill a spartan would be like shooting at a spider monkey that shoots back, and has a magical invisible bullshit wall that makes the first 10 shots that hit do nothing. I think it would come down to trying to hit the spartan with a rocket or a ton of grenades up close, or a .50 cal. I don't have high hopes for the marines. even if you had a whole battalion of marines trapped in a 5 square mile area with the spartan, only so many could engage him at any one point. that spartan would lose, eventually, but the marines would take absolutely atrocious casualties. that only gets worse if the spartan is replaced with a space marine.

My favorite Star Wars Legends series has to be the New Jedi Order. It was this insane, massive over-arching epic saga that fundamentally changed so much about everything in the franchise moving forward. It makes me sad that fans of the new canon only will never get to experience something like that since they'll never be allowed to tell a 19 book long galaxy changing saga again.

Eck I have one question that's been on my mind for a long time. Why didn't palpatine sense Luke Skywalker's presence in return of the jedi while Vader did and yet palpatine had foreseen Luke coming to Vader? In empire strikes back he does sense the presence of Luke from a huge distance. But why not in return of the jedi from a Closer distance?

There's only been a few legends book I've read that I didn't like but still thought they were okay, Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void, the Last Jedi (legends book, even though the canon one was crap), Shadow Hunter was okay, I never finished I Jedi, and Scourge was okay as well.
