Actually, at that point future Barry would not have known that Eobard would have been so mad that junior Barry escaped that he would kill his mother. When he signaled to Barry not to interfere he meant in the fight as he would have probably known the repercussions of interfering with the timeline.

Ok, I'm just gonna say a few things without spoilers: - Probably you already know but the helmet with wings that appears 09:50 it's a reference to a DC superhero called "Jay Garrick" you saw him in the second season of "Young Justice". - It's a little difficult to understand because if Eobard was erased with Eddy' sacrifice and as the same with Barry's mother it should change the timeline but it doesn't. Eobard isn't dead, he was erased from existence, but the things he did will "remain" and the series will explain that. - The consequences for saving Barry's mother are shown in the animated movie "Flashpoint Paradox" I really hope you react to this movie D Great reaction Mangual :D

What I don't get is why were they not recording Barry's conversation with Wells at the beginning? He confessed to killing his mom when they were talking, and they already established that there are security cameras in the cells!!

Because then it would look like you just locked the guy up in an illegal holding facility and forced him to confess to something under duress. Plus without any proof, it doesn't really mean much. There's nothing linking him to the crime scene or any discernable motives, and it very likely wouldn't hold up in court. It's one thing for a journalist to get a hold of information like this, it's another for it being viable evidence for prosecution. Also, how do you explain this to anyone? A guy from the future, a 22nd century guy with super speed to be precise, came back to kill me as a child for no apparent reason but my future self pulled me out of there in time. He was pissed at this and killed my mum, also for no apparent reason. He then stole the face of a famous scientist and has been living as him for the past 15 years, hence why his blood was not present at the crime scene, so that he could nuke the city on purpose. He can't convince anyone of this without admitting that he's the Flash (hence the "no apparent reasons"), which would endanger the lives of his family and friends and even then, there's nothing that proves that Wells/Thawne has super speed himself or that he was even there. It would just be too easy for them to poke holes in the case, and that's if they weren't arrested themselves. Also, because then it kinda cuts the plot short, of course.
