I love the fact that at first Barry only seems to be moderately worried about not being able to locate any members of the Justice League, aka the only people who can stop Zod from destroying the planet at that point, but learning that all the wrong actors are in the wrong movies is what really makes him panic and realize how badly he's messed up lmao

YES, thank you!! I absolutely loved how Dark Flash was basically a scarier take on Savitar-- both were future versions of Barry's time remnants, created in an endless paradox.

For me, it's easily a 8/10! Good story, super fun, nice action scenes, the CGI was sometimes bad but that doesn't affect my rating that much, to be honest.

I did like it, but I do think my rating is mostly rated by my disappointment for the DCU as a whole. I wish that didn't influence it so much though 😕

I still liked it quite a bit, I'm mainly disappointed with the universe as a whole. I found it distracting. I still liked it, but it was distracting.

What seemed strange to me is that Barry never seems to want to know who killed his parents and why, surely if you really want to prevent it from happening wouldn't it help to know this. Furthermore what makes him so sure that by having his dad at home rather than go out for tomatoes that he won't be killed aswell as his mum ?

Sorry, for some reason I thought I had responded already but I want to tell you that I was thinking the same thing! It feels out of Character to not wonder did it and try to maybe stop them.

@@tomcattvreacts No problem, I enjoyed the movie though but its not going to be one of my all time favourite superhero/comic book movies but I guess i'd give it a solid 6 to 6.5/10 as it was pretty entertaining. I will probably watch it again to see if I feel any different on a 2nd viewing. I mainly watched it for Michael Keaton and Supergirl as I wasn't sure I liked Ezra Miller as the Flash after seeing him in Justice League & Zach Snyders Justices League, although I was curious as to how where they would go with the character and storyline. I think i'm more used to the way Ezra Miller plays the Flash now so I actually didn't really find him that annoying in this film. I didn't really mind the CGI other than in the scene where he's saving the babies, it didn't really bother me at all. My favourite of the CGI cameos at the end was definitely Nicolas Cage's superman, that was cool to see.

IKR! It's not bad. It has bad parts but I think the movie is overall good. The DCEU / DCU is what I'm unhappy with

@@tomcattvreacts Yeah they're great directors. The Batman was probably the best DC movie that I've seen since The Dark Knight. and The Suicide Squad is a masterpiece, compared to 💩 that came out in 2016

I absolutely love this movie. it's true that the cgi is fairly poor, but I believe it's disliked because there's too much drama surrounding it. It's not as horrible as people make it out to be.

It's definitely not a bad movie. I liked it quite a bit and I agree that the drama is a problem. I mainly have a problem with the studio interference that has made DC a tonal mess. It's to much like they're trying to be Marvel sometimes, but I like DC better than marvel so that bugs me. Like Batman doesn't need to be funny, I don't get why they do that.

​@@tomcattvreacts Sometimes I think about how successful the DCEU may have been, perhaps not as successful as Marvel, but certainly far better compared to the current situation. If Zack Snyder's Justice League had been released in 2017, things would have been a lot different. I blame Joss Whedon's version as the turning point that led to the DCEU's current disaster.

Keaton wasn't suppose to be the only returning sup; as they had plays to CGI in Christoph Reeves' Superman, and even Helen Slater's Supergirl.I'm sure they had others they wanted to add, but due to Covid, and the ballooning budget, all of that was left at the waist side.

@@joesmith8600 Super Hero Fatigue is so real. Especially cuz most don't care about the characters and only care about the 💰💰. The Batman was probably the best in a while. Idk what it is about Batman but he often brings out the best in filmmakers. Excluding Schumacher, lol
