I forgot how dark the Season 1 suit was. So interesting to see how the CW's collective superhero shows have evolved from dark colors and grounded stories to bright colors and wildly imaginative stories.

They set clear limits on how fast Barry could run, I think he barely passed Mach2 by the end of the season. Even if the science was all fake, they at least tried to ground everything in reality and explain Meta powers using some sort of real world science. And just the overall campiness of the show, acting and all.

I swear season 9 had better start looking this good again. The running effects in season 8 were a joke. I cringed every time Barry used his powers outside of the lightning explosions. For the final season, all I want is for it to be close to season 1's quality.
