I will never understand how erza miller showed up in the tv show crossover (which was awesome) while Grant couldn't be in the movie when his flash gave miller the idea for the flash name. Lets not mention there was a ton of superman and batman cameos but the only speedster we got was a cgi ai ripoff jay garrick in the freaking flash movie

I think it was a thing concocted by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee at a party they just asked Ezra Miller to do it as part of the Crisis on infinite Earths CW special. But it was done mostly in secret, to keep the surprise but also to avoid any of the higher ups meddling with it. And it was after the Josh Wheadon JL movie so the flash suit was in storage so getting that was also tricky.

Back in the 80’s my brother and I worked at a shipyard close to Cape Cod doing fiberglass work painting all that fun stuff . One day we were doing glass work on the deck and this guy Steve that worked with us started yelling “ Superman, look it’s Superman. Anyway I looked up and Christopher Reeve was standing there with Coffee’s in hand for us. I didn’t even know whose boat we were working on. He was one of the nicest guys I ever met, it was a sad day when he was hurt worse when he passed. I am happy I had a chance to meet him.

speaking on the suit. I like what Superman & Lois did. The suit takes damage and repairs itself. There's a scene season 1 episode 6 where Clark is saving a kid and soldiers shot him in the chest with Kryptonite bullets. He pulls them out, tosses them and heat visioned them. But if you notice right after he pulls them out the suits starts healing itself. Didn't even notice until my second or third watch. Would have to Kryptonian tech but I enjoyed that.

Since Superman & Lois are on a different earth/or consolidated earth? - not sure where the tech would have come from. Not sure we'll ever know if they don't share that in universe somehow.

I assumed it was Kryptonian because we see the homemade suit his mom made him in the first season flashbacks and the fact no other heroes are on this planet to help with super costume design. I assumed he upgraded at the Fortress. Only other possibility would be Sam Lane and the gov't I suppose. I'm sure it'll go unexplained since he's had this suit since episode 1.

I completely agree with Stephen, Warner Brothers talked for over decade to make 1 good movie and 2 somewhat alright movies. Early on they talked about all the movies they were gonna make and the timeline but took a decade to make them. They literally started talking about The Flash movie in 2014 and it only came out last year. Imagine if they actually released everything earlier, theyd have a crazy universe right now

Problem is Gunn has been there for a while, people say oh it's just new, well tbh he hasn't shown ANYTHING that I'd want in DC, not his Marvel stuff and certainly not his DC stuff, Safran as well Shazam/Shazam2 were rubbish, 1 was a screechfest and Captain Marvel was nore immature than Billy? Bizarre and yeah Gunn with Hamada etc getting Gunn to write Superman ages ago while taking away the Snyderverse characters, so yeah Gunn has been doing his 'Thing' for a while and meddling creating stuff no one wants. If Superman WHATEVER he is calling it now, changing things up as per usual, is rubbish and silly, the DCU will fall into an oblivion and we will have to wait years again for something more serious. Personally I think Gunn is the wrong choice because he's too hands on, we needed a Serious Fiege, not a Funn Gunn. 👎

Personally I thought the Arrow TV Series was by far the best of all the CW content. I had never even heard of the character and saw him in a crossover episode of the Flash when I was binge watching it many years after it started. Immediately I started binge watching Arrow and it quickly took over as my favourite series. I also watched Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow & Batwoman (which was the worst).

I don't care much for the red trunks, but maybe they can figure out a clever design to incorporate the red coloring in that area to invoke the feeling that the trunks are there. Kind of like the injustice superman suit from the first game, with the red in the trunks area, even though he doesn't wear the trunks. They can do something like that but better :).

The Flash during Superman: Legacy would be interesting I wouldn’t mind seeing Barry Allen or Wally West coming into the DCU especially for can happen next bc this film is backed with comic book characters but I’m still hyped for it and Kingdom Come is one of my favorite comic book stories of all time but I’m still excited to what happens with The Flash hopefully Wally West bringing in the DCU in couple years from now.

I for one was thinking of more like the suit Superman wears in this new anime , which is very close to the Kingdom Come logo but instead of black it's a deeper darker red, maybe even the golden trim logo like the Fleischer animated version. I think one of the best adaptations of a Superhero suit was Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, and they did add textures and volume to it. It certainly didn't look home made but I willing to suspend disbelief if it just looks so dang cool on screen. So I am expecting something in that level of quality and sophistication, hope Gunn delivers that sweet spot. He has been great with hero costumes in all of his movies so I have no reason for doubting his choice. I am more concerned about the story featuring so many characters...

barry is always the one caused the big event of paradoxical timelines, so he should be the flash of the cinema verse. we all love wally but his writing will be way more awesome for a series (either solo or team theme). let we have a barry allen of justice league dark, where he came easy and funny and developed to be more serious and depressed. barry allen the flash needs some justice too.

I also believe that john constantine and zatana and deadman might appear in swamp thing. Also circe is in creature commandos and that's a direct connection to wonder woman, circe and cheetah etc are wonder woman's main villains. So he is slowly building up characters behind the scenes. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a tease of braniac in Supergirl because she would definitely encounter or hear about him being so deep in space as she was in the comic. There might even be a hint to darkseid etc. And the green lantern series was supposed to connect to a bring threat in the DCU. Im guessing the big threat is the same villain from the justice league new frontier comic. In that comic martian manhunter, aquaman and wonder woman and other heroes were introduced to the world.

I remember in the Chris Reeve Superman there was small scene when Martha Kent told Clark that she sewed his suit from his pod blankets. Since the Brandon Routh Superman was supposed to be a continuation of the Reeve Superman, that would follow thru. As for the Flash? I"m not a fan of either incarnation although Gustin is definitely more tolerable than Miller. I wouldn't be opposed to a brand new Flash since we are apparently getting a bunch of new castings. Although Gunn does seem to be a big fan of certain parts of the Berlanti verse.

I have said from the day Arrow aired that Stephen Amell is 'THE MAN WHO SAVED DC' because, aside from Nolan's Batman series and maybe Man of Steel I had lost interest in DC and I was a die-hard comic fan who had THE FLASH mailed to my door once a month for years. Warner has mismanaged the DC property so badly over the years I cannot even fathom it. Marvel made like 24 movies and tied the entire plots together introducing like 20 main heroes and 15 main villains and knocking it out of the park with END GAME being the highest grossing movie of all time. I hate knocking Ezra Miller and I hope he gets the help he needs some day but When you HAD Grant Gustin ready and available to play THE FLASH and you pass on him, when he already has a fan base. And when you pass up the chance to have Stephen Amell's Green Arrow be the Tony Stark of the whole thing and put the Justice League together, something I would have done, much less ignore every actor from the CW series because they are small screen so you must cast big screen actors is so 20th century and such a huge mistake. Frankly - they should have cast every single actor from the ARROWVERSE in their current roles and made more movies to introduce characters like Marvel merging the CW shows with the DC metaverse or whatever they are calling this five minutes.

A Constantine/Zatanna update would be nice. We have about the perfect casting with Matt Ryan, and I would welcome him returning as the sole survivor of the CW (and NBC). Also Zatanna and Justice League Dark, especially with Swamp Thing coming out, are on a lot of people's radar on DCU Phase 2.

Assuming that the symbol on the name cards at the table read is the same as on the suit is a leap. Not a big one, but graphics used for production are frequently different from what's actually used in the film. Could easily be a red herring.

Well guess I'm an oddball. I loved seeing Keaton back as the OG Batman. I've seen every live action Batman and love the inclusion of any version of Bruce. I watched most of The Flash TV series, but I never got intrested in Green Arrow. Let's see how it goes for Gunn.

There has never been more of a super fan of flash, than my 13 yr old. We started the series together and i now too, am a flash fan, as well as the young man ‘Grant’ fan. Carry’s himself well on set as well as off set. I would give anything or give up anything to get my son a meeting some how, some way, some where. My son watches all of Grants work, strictly due to his admiration of the actor! … also your channel is the only one we follow and prefer! About a decade now.

I prefer the textured costumes. I always felt the smooth latex look was a bit campy. Even Wonder Woman had a metallic style armoured look. Maybe it suited the darker tone of th recent movies, but it's just my personal preference. .Even Spiderman's costume from Stark industries had texture, although he went back to smooth look at the end of No way Home.

Personally I'd like to see Grant Gustin come back as a new version of Barry. I know a lot of people look down on the CW shows and feel like it doesn't fit within the movies (whether that was Snyder or Gunn), but no one's asking him to come back as that version of Flash. I think him and Stephen Amell deserve to come back as their respective characters in the movie world in whatever new iteration comes down the road.

His point is that DC needs to grab more attention to make good money and they need to pursuit a younger audience. I'm 25 and I have yet to watch Michael Keaton's movie since I don't find it interesting to watch from what I've seen. At some point everyone will enjoy seeing Ben affleck in the movies compared to having Bale. It's normal.
