It's also how Black Adam was defeated in his first appearance back in the 1940s. It was good old "Uncle Marvel" who tricked Black Adam into saying the magic word. My biggest problem with this movie was how Dr. Fate's powers just aren't supposed to work the way they made it work in this movie. Like his main thing isn't seeing into the future by touching the helmet, that's something he can do like once every now and then through powerful magic. Also, he doesn't just get to take the helmet on and off whenever he wants, it's a last resort thing where if he puts the helmet on he gives up control to Naboo and doesn't get to take it off without cost or reason. It could have been a big moment in the plot. He hasn't put on the helmet in many years and the cost of giving himself over to Naboo is too much for the current task at hand, then towards the end he gives up control to Naboo in order to save hawk man's life.

Now *this* is how Batman should be portrayed... Using his mind to out wit Black Adam into saying "Shazam". That was genius and hilarious. No reason for a big Superman vs Black Adam showdown, when Supes can just call in Batman to trick Black Adam into saying Shazam. 😂

I love how Batman gets the upper hand by tricking him into saying Shazam. But it also made me realize, dude had a point. Batman Vs Black Adam would probably be a cooler movie than Superman Vs Black Adam. I'm not usually one for saying Batman could defeat *anybody* but the comic I read where Batman pulls this on Black Adam was a much more interesting dynamic than just the fight. Batman confronts BA and challenges him, thinking he can use BA's pride to fight him with no powers and make it easier only to find out he was completely wrong. That BA had trained his *normal* body just as much as his powered body. Batman even recognized that BA learned the one martial arts he could never learn, because it was invented by Vandal Savage himself. It takes hundreds of years to learn and master the martial arts, so you literally have to be immortal in order to live *long enough* to learn it. Ra's Al Ghul being the reason he's even aware of it. Making BA 1 of 3 people Batman is aware of dedicated, skilled, and experienced enough to learn a martial art only Immortals can live long enough to master. This leads to Batman realizing that he and BA have the exact same goals and drive. That BA protects Khandaq with the same level of dedication he protects Gotham, with the same driving force of being a man broken by the tradegy of seeing their family killed, and the intent to always be prepared to do whatever it takes to be ready from then on. And Black Adam recognizes the same in Batman, so he stops fighting Batman and instead *offers* him the powers of Shazam. Telling him he can be an even greater hero to Gotham combining what he already is capable of with the powers and he sees Batman as worthy to share in that power. And it surprises Batman and makes him consider. He thinks to himself how he always wondered what he would do if offered powers. Legitimate powers like Clark, Diana, Barry, Hal, or in this case Billy, not a devil's bargain like how Ra's Al Ghul wants him to be his successor. Always wondered if he would be able to turn them down or not. Could powers actually help him be a better hero to Gotham like one of the other Leaguers? He almost reaches to touch BA's symbol but hesitates and seemingly is about to reject it. But before he makes definitive action for either yes or no, BA is made aware of an attack, gets mad that he was distracted dealing with Batman and rushes over, so the moment is over. Would be pretty cool to see that play out since we've never really seen Batman react to having a *chance* at powers, only how he manages to survive around them without any of his own.

4:33 In his defense the crown could have been booby trapped and letting her go for it would have been safer-ish.

Yeahh a mystical crown floating in the air under a beam of light in a cave of ancient ruins basically *wants* you to grab it, which would have tripped any treasure hunter’s “booby trap sense,” supposing that they had any desire for self-preservation.

more importantly crown itself is USELESS without Adam to activate it ... he could try tricking Shazam into killing himinstead but he needs to be killed by a Champion while in possession of the crown to cross over

I don't think they're bad because they kill people. I think the Snyder Cut was actually ok. The real issue is that it tried to do too much too quickly and it all felt rushed. Too much happening, the movies were really long. The characters themselves are fine

@@pmpowalisz So it's fine that Batman mowed down a bunch of random security guards with his battling gun because it was "in the heat of battle"? A battle he started?
@pmpowalisz2 жыл бұрын
@@dupersuper1938 random security guards, oh your sheer naïveté is depressing, so here’s a rather unpleasant truth. Lots of corporations and rich individuals these days contracts their security to private military corporations (PMCs for short) whose reputation for professionalism and combat effectiveness is far far more important than their reputation for various humanitarian abuses and war crimes! The League of Assassins (who Batman once ran with) would have a better moral track record than most PMCs. You can also be sure that Batman would have researched the PMC that Lexcorp was using so you can cross of that random bs too.
