I saw him in the show and in others movies and none of his performances is outstanding. I think it's time for Grant to leave the show or for the show to end. He is a good flash and can beautifully sing and dance, but he has to challenge himself with differents caracther and role, he has to prove that he can give greats or outstanding performances, caught the attention of the critic in differents roles and movies (as others did) to be considered a really good actor. He is not there yet. And yes he needs good movies and good script but most important: he needs to challenge himself much more.

There are several good actors on the show but they need to find new producers and better writers. Season 1 and 2 are by far the best. I’m sorry but Nora and Bart are annoyong and have no need to be there. Iris with her “you’re not thé flash Barry, we are.” Crap needs to go. Iris should have just died. The best seasons of the Flash are where the main Villain is a speedster. Season 7 on the other hand seemed to have 3 different villains all in one season. Godspeed is cool and all but they really messed it up.

Not enough people have pointed out that losing Ralph had the biggest negative impact on the show. He stole every scene he was in and actually carried the previous season's main storyline. He also had relationships and great chemistry with every other character. Add the loss of Wells and Cisco, and the show just lost its only 3 good characters in one season.

Exactly, it's honestly just becoming Iris and friends, they should've killed her off in season 3, like her death would've mattered. No one on the show really cared when HR died, they just had a funeral, and that was that. If Iris died, it would have been actually effective and would have helped Barry defeat Savitar. Also, side note, how does Savitar, the "god of speed", get killed by a bullet? I think that moment literally sent the show into a downward spiral.

@@sidw3124 Well Savitar in the show wasn’t actually a god he was just a time remnant of Barry from the future, he was just pertaining to be a god but really it was just an evil version of Barry with a metal suit. That’s why he died to a bullet also in those last moments Savitar was just tryna to kill someone at that point because he was about to be erased from the timeline so then Barry had his back turned to him so when Savitar saw that he tried his best to kill Barry but before he gained full momentum of his speed Iris just shot him resulting in him losing. Hope this wasn’t confusing and sorry if it was.

Well in season 4 Eric Wallace joined the show as headwriter and apparently the producers of Flash liked what he was doing so much they were slowly giving him more creative decisions over Todd Helbing who was the showrunner of the first 3 seasons. Then in season 6 Eric Wallace got promoted to showrunner which amplified all of the problems in seasons 4 and 5 of the Flash. They seriously need to get rid of Eric Wallace and hire Todd Helbing back but I doubt that will happen cause the people that work on this show defend him and say fans are not true fans if they don't like Eric. I don't get how they think Eric Wallace was better than Todd Helbing who did an exceptional job with full creative control of the first 3 seasons.

Maybe that's why his dad got killed instead. But IMO it kinda takes the emotional points because Barry already has so much paternal figures: Joe, the Wells, Jay Garrick and Thawn. Which is why I'm going to say that since s1 I hated iris and most people seem to agree that CW just doesn't know how to write likeable female characters. Truly the only female I have enjoyed throughout the whole show is Cecile (mind you I'm just starting s6) so IMO yes, just kill iris already. Change the writers or just let this show die once and for all.

@@jjonahjameson8934 The only time The Flash did something by himself in this show is defeat Samuroid in Season 4 and use his speed thinking for the first time in Season 7, he was going to start working alone in Season 2, but the writers ruined that in the first episodes and it’s really frustrating, they should have had him work alone in the first two seasons and then have himself work with the Flash family in Seasons 3-7. That would have much better than stupidly having him work with people that are useless to the plot and having nothing to do with the Flash mythos and family.

The first Chillblaine episode hurt my soul. Putting aside the cringe-inducing dialogue and the fact that not one scene in his story made any sense whatsoever, the fact that Frost actually has feelings for him despite him killing people and admitting to brutal human experimentation, makes me question the sanity of everyone involved. He feels like a self-insert for a writer with sociopathic tendencies. Oh, and I love the part where he's going on about "Oh, you can't even imagine what I could do with those powers!" And his epic new supervillain ability is putting ice on her face so she can't see... 10/10 reveal.

Flash suffers from having no real character development or plot since season 3. Looking back at the earlier seasons we can see that aside from the Flash fighting his villains, the show focussed on friendships and relationships. Overtime the show has entirely gotten rid of this. In fact when Cisco was leaving in s7, I was thinking about it and I realized that Barry and Cisco have barely even been friends. At this point they're more like teammates than friends. They haven't done much actually friend like stuff in a while, we mainly see them interacting because of Team Flash. Barry and Caitlin have barely had anything either. Her getting drunk and doing karaoke was the last thing I remember. Another thing is they've dramatically increased the amount of heart to heart conversations in each episode which only cheapens them and makes them seem cringy and overused. But they keep filling the episodes with these moments which makes it so annoying. Next is characters on the team. Characters have come and gone and the lack of any development has created a problem. We only hear about these new developments in their relationships, we don't actually see them. Barry and Iris? Pretty much nothing. Cisco and Kamilla? I literally forgot they were dating. We get to see a little domestic life from Cecile and Joe but that's it. Characters like Kamilla, Allegra and Chester have seemed very out of place and I didn't really care for them at all. I literally forgot Allegra's name. In fact she doesn't even have a purpose anymore. First her purpose was her cousin, then there was that thing with Nash but now she's just there on the team aimlessly. Speaking of, there's no Wells and it's a real problem. I don't think this show can survive without a Wells. Next, the writers keep messing things up, making Barry's son his grandson and whatnot. It's so needless. Also what is up with these villains?? We didn't have a clear villain until like the last 4 episodes. Fine, mirror master carried on into s7, I can understand that was because of the pandemic. But the entire season went without a clear villain and they cheapened the Speed force so much. Before the Speed force was this powerful ominous existence in the universe, now it's some childish 13.8 billion year old God that cries because she'll be alone and gets all grunge when she wants to kill people. Godspeed seemed like a fucking Power Rangers villain and DON'T EVEN get me started on that lightsaber fight. For the sake of preserving my sanity, I'm going to act like it never happened. Also the show isn't explaining anything. I understand some things are too big to explain, but in the past the show actually tried to do it. They spent a little while explaining how Thawne was back and things made sense. Now? Cisco and Frost dealt with 6 Godspeed clones(something not even Barry could do). How did they achieve this? Because "Mecha Vibe and Frost make a really good team". How will they give August organic speed? Because Barry using his organic speed on August's 'artificial speed cells' will do the trick. What in the FUCK are artificial speed cells?! If the Speed force could wipe August's memories after giving him the speed, why didn't she do it earlier when Barry had just given him organic speed??? Clearly August was redeemable without his memories. Also how is artificial speed so sustainable when earlier it was such a big problem that would quite literally kill you?? The show lacks any consistency and lacks common sense because the writers gave up on trying to make the show make sense.

I use to be more mad with the Hartley situation with how his literal character started with Barry questioning if someone could change in 5 years. But than the Candice tweets came out a month or two ago, tweets from also 9 years ago, and the flash crew have done absolutely nothing about it. People I know have been blocked by the flash twitter or Instagram page because they mention it. Which is why it’s not extremely public compared to Hartley’s tweets. It’s a double standard only because she’s the main female character. It’s obvious both have changed, but you can’t fire one and not the other :/

Always in the field Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm - after being sucked into the singularity and landing on Earth-2, he was able to stabilize his half of the Firestorm matrix without relying on Stein. Also provides an interesting dynamic with evil Killer Frost Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man - Comic relief of the team, actually uses his detective skills Wally West/Kid Flash - Barry's sidekick, doesn't always go on missions Harry Wells - The guy in the chair, operating everything behind the scenes. Iris, Joe, Cecile, and any other non-supers are only recurring characters that appear in fewer episodes than the above characters. Caitlin is a full-on villain. Chester and Allegra don't exist.

The show is literally dead now and let me tell you all how it was ruined so much - 1) Instead of Barry Allen , they made Iris annoying west a main character. To tell us that she is important , every second scene of the show is around her ! Barry feels like a secondary character in his own show. And till date , Iris hardly contributes anything important rather than those cringe pep-talks ! 2) Characters like Cisco and Caitlin were also completely sidelined - One of the main reasons for the success of earlier seasons was also the dynamic between golden trio ( Barry , Cait , Cisco ) ! This dynamic was the heart of show. Their friendship was so great but with every passing season this friendship was so much ignored , we hardly get any individual scene between Barry-Cisco or Barry-Cait now. Both Cait and Cisco served so much to original plot in earlier season but all they get now are B plots. There is a reason why Carlos left the show. 3) Too much unnecessary characters for cw pseudoagendas - Really what was the need of Chester when Cisco was there ? What do characters like Chester , Allegra actually contribute ? Also these actors playing Chester , Cecile , Allegra overact so much that every scene with them become a cringe-festival. They want to show us diversity with casting these actors but really don’t know how to write them or make them act ! The acting of Daniel Nicolet in Cecile centred episode was really so bad , she overacted so much - that instead of feeling horrified I was laughing in that episode ! This is Us has such a great cast (with such a great diversity in the cast) but they know how to write them and actors know how to act. I am not expecting those standards from cw but at-least introduce some decent actors who know how to to do their job ! 4) They can fire Hartley for his racist , homophobic tweets but not Candice Patton for the same !! What is wrong is wrong irrespective of gender , orientation and skin colour - but cw showed double standards here ! Also Ralph was so poorly written out of the story ! Too much of any kind of politics always ruin a good show. 5) Villains act like teenagers - Man how they literally ruined Speedforce. Such a powerful and mysterious identity and what they did to her. In the intial episodes of season 7 , she was presented like Barry”s mother and by the end she calls herself as Barry”s daughter. Writers who wrote this story-line / Eric Wallace must be fired. Compare the villains we get now to Zoom , RF or even Savitar !! 6) Killer Frost - Compare KF of season 2 and 3 to the caricature she has become in season 6 and 7. She is not a teenager girl and please don’t make her act like that. Though Danielle Panabaker acts really good as Cait and KF. 7) No Tom Cavanah - who was really the best actor for this show. But he also knew that the show has hardly anything to offer him now - so he also left. 8) Eric Wallace - Really he can-not run this show. He ruined it more than previous show-runners. Only good part was season 6a under him but after that he totally made this show a joke in itself. He boasts of so much but in reality gives us nothing ! Even season 3 looks so good now as compared to the shit he gifted us in 6b and 7a. The show is literally a cringe festival now with all those new non-actors , boring villains and Iris West Allen. I am just watching to see how they end it ! But I must say it should be canceled with season 8. Give us one last good season !

The Flash seasons ranked 1. Season 1 (this season was just phenomenal as Grant Gustin proves himself to be the best live action Flash ever and the overall season-long storyline with Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash as the main villain was great) 2. Season 2 (probably the darkest Arrowverse season ever as it not only introduces us the multiverse, but it gave us the scariest and most evil big bad ever in Zoom) 3. Season 6A: "Blood and Truth" (after 3 seasons the show has finally gave us arguably the third best villain in Bloodwork and the overall storyline of Barry and Team Flash preparing for the Crisis was pretty good) 4. Season 3 (while this season fails to live up the expectations of the Flashpoint storyline, i say that the season overall was still very solid as it had some good episodes like the Gorilla City episodes, the "Duet" musical, and 3x22: "Infantino Street") 5. Season 6B: "Reflections and Lies" (the overall storyline with Eva McCulloch/Mirror Monarch could have been better, but i think what this season does best is Team Flash dealing with the fallout of Crisis as they had to deal with the different Post-Crisis changes on the new timeline on Earth-Prime) 6. Season 5 (while Flash's S5 suit and the overall main plotline with the Cicadas sucked, this season was still an improvement over Season 4 mainly because of how Thawne was practically the overarching antagonist of the season) 7. Season 4 (while the Thinker is honestly one of the better villains in the Arrowverse and "Enter Flashtime" being one of the best episodes of the show ever, the season itself suffered from a lot of things like having lots of filler episodes, DeVoe's body swap, Amunet Black, and Iris being team leader) 8. Season 7A: "God Complex" (the whole Forces storyline is really unwatchable as the pep talks are more annoying than ever, the dialogue is pretty cringey, and the whole family aspect of these Forces was just very weird and did not work at all)

Killer Frost for me is so much better than Iris after S4, she has become the main character of the show and stole a lot of the show from the core that is The Flash and the villains, specialle S6 and 7. I have nothing against Candice but the portrayal of Iris is hatable.
