I'll just say it right here: If Snowbarry turns out to be endgame and WestAllen turns out to be just a passing thing, then I'll forgive the melodrama we've dealt with so far. Note that I didn't say LIKE the melodrama, just forgive it. Because get this, IF the melodrama is leading to SB being endgame and WA not working out, then all the shit we've sat through is actually great writing/storytelling Seriously, if it turns out that the message the writers are sending through WA is that the whole 'universe wants us together' message is bullshit, I will forgive the scenes promoting that idea. If the writers are using their communication issues to show that they're not going to ultimately work out, I will forgive the nonsense with the counselor and all that. If the writers are showing us that first love doesn't necessarily mean true love, and that both Barry and Iris are so consumed by the emotion of the thing that they can't see that it's not working, I will forgive the ridiculous conversations about Barry and Iris saying how much they love each other again and again. There are actually hints towards this idea, those being the context they've used the phrases 'perfect couple' and 'gold standard' in. The former being Barry saying it in the middle of them disagreeing constantly. The latter being Sara saying it with a sarcastic tone of voice.

you missed the point. it's not that they just had normal seizures. their seizures were unusual. if you remember, the doctors were shocked as to how Barry was having seizures with no pulse! Same for caitlin. the team had no idea how she was having seizures with the machine showing no pulse. Even the scenes and camera angles of them having the seizure are exactly identical. But more importantly, it's the fact that they both experienced it in relation to their powers developing before waking up for the first time is very significant. it's a definite parallel :D

The case is more about them not showing any signs of having a pulse for the monitor to register while experience the seizure (which is far abnormal than what we consider to be a typical seizure) rather than it happening under similar circumstances which is the process of getting powers. So this I'd say is a phenomena only Barry & Caitlin have experienced.
