Despite his previous mistakes, The Flash has not changed deep inside and this is evident in his intro dialogues where he does everything he can in order to avoid fights and instead, making friends with his opponents. Indeed, not everyone accepts his offer, but many others reciprocate the feeling of friendship and alliance.

He wasn't born a superhero: he received his powers mid life and he dealt with that gift using his previous life as a reminder. Yep: he preferred to be a very common Joe who lives in a cheap apartment with shared laundry room while working as a forensic, all the time treating everyone as fairly as he wants to be treated. No wonder he clicks so well with Captain Cold (a villain, but one with very strong core principles).

All three Flashes are some of my favorite comic book characters because each one represents the best of the attitudes of their eras, and each one tries to be a supporting pillar for anyone they can be in their own way. They're just such unique, interesting, fun characters who can literally only exist in this universe.
