@@FrankDoorhofOne question please. If I put the XL Pro reflector on my camera without the grid & the soft box, will I be able to walk around with it? Or is it too heavy and bulky
@FrankDoorhof10 ай бұрын
@mauriciolee7349 I've seen people do it but for me it's a bit too heavy. You do have to twist the head so it can't bend forward. Than it's doable ;)

@@mauriciolee7349 The XL Pro is not just a little too heavy for on-camera flash, it is WAY too heavy for that. The XL Pro is intended for off camera flash. The largest I go with on-camera is the Large and it practically weighs nothing. The XL Pro is very heavy and will most likely stress out your speedlight head and camera's hot shoe.

I just got a pair of the v3 XL, and I'm excited to give them a go at the next cosplay convention. I've also had a pair of the v1 Large for about a decade now, and I've loved them so much that I made DIY barn doors of sorts for them for more control over the light even in the softbox configuration (this was quite a while before the XL was released with the grid attachment). I'll probably do the same for the XL eventually since I'm not planning to use the stripbox configuration much

You'll love the striplight ;) Always interested to see what you do with it of course or the barndoorns
